First Virtual Meeting | Allahmar (Association) Baptist Youth Officers & Volunteers 🙏🏻

A meaningful first virtual meeting as we prepare for the upcoming youth ministry activities of Allahmar Baptist Churches. May God guide our plans, strengthen our unity, and use each of us to serve and inspire the youth for His glory.

1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

Manna: James warns believers not to become people who hear the Word but do not obey it. Hearing Scripture without acting on it can create a false sense that we are spiritually doing well. Comparing this to someone who looks at their face in a mirror, walks away, and immediately forgets what they saw. The Word of God is like a mirror, mirror that shows us who we are, what needs to change, and how God wants us to live.

Today, may we not only ask, “What is heaven?” but also, “Am I living for Christ as I await heaven?”

Heaven is more than a place we hope to go—it is the eternal home where we will be with God, where sorrow, pain, and death will be no more. But the greatest promise of heaven is not simply what awaits us there; it is being with Christ forever.

As we listen to God’s Word and partake in Holy Communion, we remember the One who made heaven our hope. Through His body given and His blood shed, Jesus opened the way for us to be reconciled with God.

Today, we celebrate a life dedicated to God—a testimony of answered prayer, grace, and faithfulness. Just as Hannah entrusted Samuel to the Lord, may this life continue to grow in wisdom, faith, and service, always honoring the One who gave it.
A life received by grace, entrusted to God, and dedicated for His glory.

Living as a Faithful Witness

Manna: In 1 Peter, the Apostle Peter is writing to Christians who were experiencing suffering, rejection, and persecution because of their faith in Christ.

When Peter speaks about living as a faithful witness, he is saying that Christians should:
*Live differently from the world by pursuing holiness and obedience to God.
*Reflect Christ's character through love, humility, kindness, and integrity.
*Stand firm in faith even when facing suffering or opposition.
*Do good to others, so that people may see God's work through their lives.
*Be ready to explain the hope they have in Jesus with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
