We often speak of the church as a building, a place we go to on Sundays. But the Scriptures reveal a profounder truth, "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it" (1 Corinthians 12:27). This isn't just a poetic metaphor; it's a living reality, a divine design for our spiritual flourishing and the advancement of God's Kingdom on earth.

When we consider this truth, we understand that gathering together for worship and fellowship is far more than a mere tradition or a weekly routine. It is, in fact, a vital, indispensable aspect of our Christian life. Just as a physical body thrives when all its members are connected and functioning, so too does the spiritual body of Christ—the Church—flourish when its individual parts come together.

As the Day approaches, and we see the signs of Christ's return, the urgency of "not giving up meeting together" (Hebrews 10:25) becomes even more pronounced. We need each other now more than ever. We need to stand together, learn together, worship together, and serve together.

Therefore, we extend a heartfelt invitation to each and every one of you. Let us commit, with renewed purpose, to prioritize our gatherings. Let us step into the joy and strength that comes from being actively connected to the family of God.

If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? (1 John 4:20)

As we gather tomorrow, let's reflect on our hearts. 1 John 4:20 reminds us that loving God means loving others, too. Let's set aside any hidden agendas or bitterness, and instead let's prioritize agendas of kindness, compassion, and understanding. If we claim to love God, whom we cannot see, let's show it through tangible actions toward those we can see. May our service be marked by genuine love, unity, and service to one another, reflecting the love of Christ.

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. (Matthew 25:40)

After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us.

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.

We're grateful for the precious moments shared with our beloved Pastors and leaders from JFA Centro South Cotabato, Surallah Ministerial Fellowship Pastors, JFA Surallah's host Pastor Family, JFA Centro Surallah, CORDS, and visitors.
