Singles Fellowship at First Fundamental Baptist Church Highlights Keys to Spiritual Success

Little Baguio, Surallah, South Cotabato — The First Fundamental Baptist Church, together with allied churches, recently held a singles fellowship under the theme “Living a Worry-Free Life: Keys to Spiritual Success.” The event encouraged single believers, particularly the youth, to focus on spiritual growth, reminding them that true success is measured not by worldly achievements but by faithfulness to God.

Drawing from Matthew 6:33 and 1 Corinthians 7:29–34, the fellowship emphasized that life is short and that God should always be the highest priority. Participants were reminded to avoid wrong influences, trusting in the promise that God never fails. Patience — enduring trials with faith and trusting God’s timing — was highlighted as a key virtue in living a worry-free, Spirit-led life.

The session also shared the 3C’s of Spiritual Success: Concern for Our Savior — putting God first (Luke 14:26); Concern for Self — guarding one’s life against sin (Romans 6:12); and Concern for Service — giving back to God by serving faithfully in the church. These principles were presented as essential steps in building a life anchored in God’s peace and purpose.

The fellowship concluded with a reminder that a worry-free life does not mean a life without challenges, but a life centered on God’s peace. True success is measured by faithfulness to Christ rather than wealth or fame. The singles fellowship reinforced the shared mission of the First Fundamental Baptist Church and its allied congregations in guiding single believers toward spiritual growth and lasting success in Christ.

Congratulations Maria C. Sazel Omani on her DepEd appointment as teacher I at Little Baguio Elementary School.

Maria Sazel C. Omani was a foreign teacher from Thailand, applied for the "Sa Pinas, Ikaw ang Ma’am at Sir" (SPIMS) Program — a reintegration initiative for Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) teachers who are Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) passers. This program helps returning OFW teachers secure employment in Philippine public schools.

Before this, she had already been granted a teaching position but chose to surrender it while still in Thailand for personal reasons. Upon returning to the Philippines, she once again pursued her passion for teaching. Through the assistance of SPIMS, she was granted another teaching appointment.

The First Fundamental Baptist Church family extends its warmest congratulations and heartfelt prayers to Maria Sazel Omani on her appointment as a public school teacher. We rejoice with you in this blessing and pray that God will continue to guide and strengthen you in this new chapter of service. “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” — Colossians 3:23

The FFBC family is so proud of you.
