One of the biggest lies the enemy whispers is,
"If you were really close to God, you wouldn't struggle like this."

So when temptation comes...
When anxiety returns...
When doubts arise...
When old wounds resurface...
We start believing we're failing as Christians.

But the truth is, the strongest believers are not those who never struggle.

They are those who never stop bringing their struggles to God.

Even the apostle Paul spoke of an ongoing "thorn in the flesh" (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). Three times he pleaded with the Lord to remove it, yet God responded, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness."

Notice that God didn't shame Paul's weakness.

He met him in it.

Minsan akala natin ang mature Christian ay yung wala nang laban sa buhay.
Pero ang totoo, ang mature Christian ay marunong nang lumaban sa tamang paraan.

Hindi sa sariling lakas.
Kundi sa biyaya ng Diyos.

The strongest Christians still battle temptation.
They still wrestle with fear.
They still experience seasons of dryness.
They still cry.
They still ask difficult questions.

The difference is this:
They don't run away from God because of their struggles.

They run to Him.

Because they know that grace is not for perfect people.

Grace is for dependent people.

Don't let your secret battle convince you that God has abandoned you.

Sometimes the very struggle you're ashamed of becomes the place where you experience His faithfulness the most.

This doesn't mean we excuse sin or become comfortable with compromise.

We're called to fight.
To repent.
To pursue holiness.

But we fight from a place of dependence, not self-confidence.

Because victory is never found in pretending you're strong.
It's found in admitting you need the One who is.

So if you're fighting a battle that no one else sees...
Don't lose heart.
Keep praying.
Keep confessing.
Keep resisting temptation.
Keep opening God's Word.
Keep trusting His grace.

Your struggle does not cancel your calling.
And your weakness does not disqualify you from God's love.

The strongest Christians aren't those who have no secret battles.

They're the ones who keep surrendering those battles to Christ.

Again and again.
Every single day.

With grateful hearts, we thank the Lord for a blessed Father's Sunday Celebration at Gift Fundamental Baptist Church. We praise God for the lives of our fathers and for His faithfulness to every family represented.

We also warmly welcomed Roxanne K. Sibolon as our new Church Worker. We are thankful that God has called and equipped her to serve in His ministry. May the Lord grant her wisdom, strength, and joy as she faithfully labors for His glory.

Our hearts were further encouraged through the wonderful time of lunch fellowship, where we shared not only a meal but also the love and unity that Christ has given His church.

"For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." – Romans 11:36 (KJV)

Keep Preaching the Gospel

Text: 2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV) "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

Introduction

There are times when every pastor, preacher, and soul winner becomes discouraged. You preach faithfully, teach God's Word, visit homes, pray for people, and invite souls to Christ, yet sometimes it seems that no one is listening and nothing is changing.

But God reminds His servants: Don't stop preaching the Gospel.

The success of a preacher is not measured by visible results but by faithfulness to God's calling.

1. Keep Preaching Because God's Word Is Powerful

The Gospel is not powerless. It is the very power of God unto salvation.

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation..."

A preacher may not always see immediate results, but God's Word never returns void. Every sermon preached, every tract distributed, and every Gospel conversation plants a seed that God can use.

2. Keep Preaching Because People Are Listening

Not everyone who hears responds immediately. Some may reject the message, while others remain silent.

Yet people are watching your life and listening to your words.

The seed that seems buried today may bear fruit years later. A child in Sunday School, a visitor in church, or a discouraged believer may remember a message long after it was preached.

Never underestimate what God is doing behind the scenes.

3. Keep Preaching Because God Rewards Faithfulness

God never called His servants to produce results—He called them to be faithful.

1 Corinthians 4:2 "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."

One day, every faithful servant will stand before Christ. The sacrifices, tears, prayers, and sermons that seemed unnoticed on earth are all recorded in Heaven.

God sees every effort made for His glory.

Conclusion

Pastor, preacher, teacher, and soul winner—don't quit.

When you feel discouraged, preach. When attendance is low, preach. When people criticize, preach. When you don't see results, preach.

The Gospel is still powerful. People are still listening. God is still working.

Your faithfulness today may become someone's salvation tomorrow.

Closing Challenge

Keep preaching the Word. Keep sowing the seed. Keep standing for truth. God is at work even when you cannot see it.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord... forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." — 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV). 🙏📖✨

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

Introduction

We live in a time when many children are growing up in a world filled with confusion, fear, violence, and negative influences. Recent school tragedies remind us that education alone is not enough. While schools teach children how to make a living, the Word of God teaches them how to live.

1. The Word of God Gives Direction

God's Word is a lamp that guides children through life's challenges. It teaches right from wrong and helps them make wise decisions. Without biblical guidance, many young people are left searching for answers in the wrong places.

2. The Word of God Builds Character

The Bible teaches love, respect, honesty, forgiveness, and self-control. These values help children become responsible students, respectful citizens, and compassionate individuals. Strong character is the foundation of a strong society.

3. The Word of God Gives Hope

Many children today struggle with fear, loneliness, and uncertainty. The Bible reminds them that God loves them, has a purpose for their lives, and is always with them. Hope found in Christ can transform a child's heart and future.

Conclusion

Bringing Bible Time and Religious Instruction back into our schools is not merely about adding another subject. It is about giving children access to the truth that can shape their lives for eternity. Our schools need educated minds, but they also need transformed hearts.

Let us pray for our schools, support opportunities for Bible instruction, and invest in the spiritual growth of the next generation.
