🌟 SEASON OF FAITH AND CELEBRATION 🌟

The Holy Cross Aided Parish joyfully came together to celebrate a meaningful season of worship through the 9 Days of Misa de Gallo, ECW Pasasalamat, Christmas Mass, and Sunday School activities, led by Padi May Fronda Casiano Casada. Throughout these days, the parish community gathered in prayer, thanksgiving, and fellowship, preparing our hearts and lives for the coming of Christ.

Each celebration became a reminder of God’s enduring love and faithfulness, as voices were lifted in praise, gratitude was offered in unity, and faith was nurtured among both young and old. From the early dawn Masses to heartfelt thanksgiving and joyful Christmas worship, the spirit of hope, devotion, and service filled our parish.

These sacred gatherings strengthened our bonds as a community and deepened our commitment to live out Christ’s love beyond the season.

🌟 ADVENT OPENING 🌟

On this blessed day, the Holy Cross Aided Parish joyfully opened the Advent season with a meaningful candle-lighting ceremony led by Padi May Fronda Casiano Casada together with the Vestry. As the first candle was lit, its gentle glow reminded the community of the hope, anticipation, and renewal that Advent brings—inviting us to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.

Following the candle-lighting, the parish held a special Blessing of Motorcycles 🏍️. We gathered in faith as Padi May offered prayers of protection, asking God to watch over every journey, safeguard every road traveled, and keep each rider under His loving care.

The celebration was filled with fellowship, prayer, and shared purpose—beautifully reflecting the spirit of Advent: a season of light, hope, and faithful preparation.

SUNDAY SCHOOL AT HOLY CROSS AIDED PARI🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🤎🖤🩶🤍🩷

On August 10, the Holy Cross Aided Parish joyfully gathered the little children for Sunday School, lovingly guided by SKEP.

Through songs, stories, and lessons from the Bible, the children are learning about God’s love and how to follow Jesus in their daily lives. Sunday School is a place where faith is planted like seeds in young hearts — growing stronger each week through teaching, prayer, and fellowship.

We give thanks for the dedication of those who lead and the eagerness of the children to learn more about the Lord.

🌿 COMMISSIONING OF THE VESTRY & TREE PLANTING🌿

On August 10, the Holy Cross Aided Parish joyfully held the Commissioning of the Vestry and a Tree Planting Ceremony, led by Padi May Fronda Casiano Casada.

The newly commissioned vestry members pledged to serve faithfully, offering their time, talents, and commitment to the mission and ministry of the Church. Their dedication symbolizes a shared responsibility in guiding the parish toward growth in faith, service, and unity.

Following the commissioning, the parish community participated in a tree planting activity 🌱 — a living sign of hope and renewal. Just as these trees will take root and grow strong, so too will our mission flourish, grounded in God’s Word and nourished by the Spirit.

The day was filled with fellowship, prayer, and purpose, marking a new chapter for the Holy Cross Aided Parish as we work together for the glory of God.

FIRST ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

On August 3, the church community held its First Organizational Meeting, led by Padi May Fronda Casiano Casada. This gathering marked a meaningful step toward unity, growth, and the strengthening of our shared mission.

During the meeting, members came together to discuss important matters, beginning with church development — identifying ways to enhance spiritual life, strengthen ministries, and ensure that our programs continue to serve the needs of the congregation and the community.

They also addressed other concerns for the improvement of the church, allowing everyone to share ideas and work toward common goals. This spirit of collaboration reflected our commitment to stewardship, fellowship, and the mission entrusted to us by God.

With prayer, dedication, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this meeting marked the beginning of a more organized and purposeful journey for our church family.

🕊️✝️ Celebration of Baptism at Holy Cross Aided Parish, Blingkong, Lutayan ✝️🕊️

With great joy and thanksgiving, our church community witnessed the beautiful Sacrament of Holy Baptism , the sacred gateway into the Christian life. In this blessed moment, our newly baptized brothers and sisters were washed in the waters of grace, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and welcomed into the Body of Christ.

Before receiving this sacrament, they faithfully underwent a time of catechism ⛪learning the foundations of our faith, embracing the promises of God, and preparing their hearts to live as disciples of Jesus. This time of formation was not just about learning, but about being spiritually formed and grounded in love.

To mark this new beginning, a tree planting ceremony was also held , a living symbol of their new life in Christ 🌱. Just as a tree is rooted in the earth and reaches toward the light, so too will their faith grow strong, rooted in God’s Word, nourished by the Spirit, and supported by the Church.

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”
— Galatians 3:26-27

Today, we rejoice with the angels and with one another as we say:

WELCOME, PADÍ MAY FRONDA CASIANO CASADA!

🕊️✝️ New Rector of St. Benedict Episcopal Church, Koronadal City and Holy Cross Aided Parish, Blingkong, Lutayan ✝️🕊️

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, we warmly welcome Padi May Fronda Casiano Casada as the new rector of our beloved St. Benedict Episcopal Church and Holy Cross Aided Parish. Her first Mass with us here at Holy Cross was a truly blessed gathering — a moment of renewal, unity, and shared faith.

We are deeply thankful to God for bringing to us a shepherd after His own heart — a servant-leader who will walk with us in love, truth, and compassion.

“And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

SOUTH EASTERN MINDANAO EPISCOPAL DEANERY (SEMED) - PRIMARY ASSEMBLY

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” – 1 Corinthians 14:40

The clergy and lay representatives from across the South Eastern Mindanao region gathered for the Primary Assembly of the South Eastern Mindanao Episcopal Deanery (SEMED).

The assembly was a time of unity, vision-setting, and faithful service.

Discussions covered:

*Proposed agenda for SEMED
*Organization of the deanery
*Election of Deanery Officers
*Election of lay organization officers:
Brotherhood of St. Andrew (BSA)
Samahan ng Kabataang Episcopal sa Pilipinas (SKEP)
Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
*Presentation and adoption of the Articles of Organization and Constitution and By-laws
*Finance updates and future planning

This gathering marks a significant step forward in strengthening the structure and mission of our deanery. With faith, collaboration, and shared purpose, we move ahead in service to God and the Episcopal Church.

Thank you to all who participated and contributed to this fruitful assembly. May the Lord continue to guide SEMED.

✝️ EASTER CELEBRATION AT HOLY CROSS CHURCH, BLINGKONG! 🌅

Last April 20, 2025, our community gathered in faith, hope, and thanksgiving to celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 🙏 The Holy Mass, led by Father Renato Baybayan, renewed our spirits and reminded us of Christ’s victory over death and His promise of new life.

After the Mass, the celebration continued with an Easter egg hunt activity for the children, filling the grounds with laughter and joy! Their excitement and wonder reflected the true essence of Easter—renewal, joy, and God’s everlasting love.

It was a day of resurrection and rejoicing as we celebrated the Risen Christ and the hope He brings into our lives. May we carry His light into the world and be messengers of His grace and love!

Thank you to everyone who made this Easter celebration so meaningful. May the joy of the Risen Christ remain in our hearts always. See you next year for another blessed gathering!

We the Episcopal Church in the Philippines have officially passed a resolution urging all constituents to advocate for a clean, honest, and peaceful electoral exercise.

🎄⛪ CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT HOLY CROSS CHURCH, BLINGKONG! 🎉

Last December 25, 2024, our community gathered in faith, joy, and gratitude to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! 🙏 The Holy Mass, led by Father Renato Baybayan , filled our hearts with the true spirit of Christmas, reminding us of God’s infinite love and grace.

After the Mass, the highlight of the celebration was the gift-giving activity, where the children received thoughtful presents that lit up their faces with joy and excitement! Their smiles and laughter reminded us of the true meaning of the season—spreading love and kindness.

It was a day of love, unity, and hope as we honored the birth of Christ and the blessings He brings into our lives. Let’s continue to share His light and love with one another!
