Last ๐๐๐น๐ ๐ฐ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, the YIFI Sugbongcogon gathered once again at the ๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ, ๐ฆ๐๐ด๐ฏ๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฐ๐ผ๐ด๐ผ๐ป, ๐ ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น for the ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด focusing on Media Ministry. The day began with an Opening Worship led by The Rev'd Divino Aclan, reminding everyone that before we become content creators, we are first disciples called to share God's love.
The training proper, facilitated by Jan Miel Aban, DYEC Executive Vice President, introduced participants to the mission of media ministry and how social media can become a powerful tool for evangelization, youth formation, and community building. More importantly, the training emphasized that media ministry is not only about creating content but also about becoming responsible content consumers. In today's digital world, Christians are called not only to post with purpose but also to think critically about what they read, watch, share, and believe. Every click, reaction, comment, and share is an opportunity to reflect Christ's values of truth, kindness, and integrity.
One of the highlights of the training was the group workshop, where participants worked together to create a one-week content plan in preparation for the upcoming 124th Proclamation Anniversary of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente. It was inspiring to see creativity, teamwork, and fresh ideas come together, proving that our young people are more than ready to become responsible digital missionaries for the Church. ๐๐ฑ
