Today, we joyfully celebrate the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and a humble model of faith, obedience, and love.

Let us come together to honor Mary and give thanks for the gift of her life, through whom God prepared the way for our salvation.

The Vicariate of St. Nicholas gathered at the Holy Family Parish - Sudipen on September 6 for a Conversation in the Spirit in connection with the La Union River Dredging Code.

The gathering provided a meaningful space for prayerful listening, open dialogue, and shared discernment as participants reflected on the concerns and responsibilities surrounding river dredging and its possible impact on our communities and environment.

Through meaningful conversation and collective discernment, may we continue to seek what is best for our people, our rivers, and our common home.

In this Season of Creation, may our faith remind us that we are stewards of Godโ€™s creation, called to protect the rivers and lands He has entrusted to us and to ensure that these gifts remain a blessing for generations to come.
