"Don't run faster as you're able to, you might miss the greater things."
-Starry-Nette✨

When everything doesn't always seem to go your ways.
When you felt like you just failed to do what he asked of you to do in your own time, and you felt exhausted and disappointed.

A little reminder:
God isn't rushing you to accomplish what he asked of you. As you walk with him, in patience, care, and love that was made perfect, you'll see line upon line, precept upon precept. (The Lord's way of teaching) You are more of becoming like him and just like his work, no unhallowed hand can stop what the lord had stored for you, for you we're the center of his work!!

You are not delayed, you are becoming in the process, and in his perfect time, that will always be enough.

"Be still and know that i am God"

After work, I often experience this long line of people patiently waiting—well, some of them—for a jeep to arrive. When the jeep finally comes, everyone starts moving. Some move at a faster pace, eager to go home, while others move more slowly, probably too tired to keep going.

It is the same in our preparation to meet and welcome Jesus Christ. Some people move much faster—they progress each day and grow so quickly that it feels like they are on the right track. Meanwhile, others seem to move slowly. Perhaps they feel tired, and trying to be better each day feels like a struggle. Their testimonies seem heavy to bear.

But as I wait, ponder, and look back on my experiences, I have learned that every time I feel stagnant, slowed, or exhausted, the Lord is teaching me patience. Everyone has their own pace, and we are not even on the same track.

We each have our own greater purpose. So when we feel stagnant, impatient, tired, or unsure if we are on the right path, we can be still and know that He is God. Because no matter how fast or slow we move, as long as we keep moving forward toward our covenant path, it will eventually lead us home.

"The taste of an apple"

Would you know the taste of an apple is sweet if you have never tasted the bitterness, or sour, salty, would you know?

It is the same in our lives, you can never truly know happiness, if you have never been sad, angry, lost, nor will appreciate the light because you have never been in the darkness. But... Because of the atonement of Jesus Christ we have an opportunity to do so, to appreciate the second chance because we made a mistake, to be broken in order to be healed, to be free, to know and to grow, to choose Good from Bad, and so, because of it, i know that i know, God loves me.

"Because when you love someone you just don't say i love you, you wanted them to feel it."

As the Book Of Mormon says:
2Nephi 2:11

"For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility."

"And sunrise become so beautiful when we endured the sadness at midnight."

"Greater things aren't Grand, they were small things compiled"

Now when we think of greater, we think of something like a feast, an eat-all-you-can buffet, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, or a dream come true, like wishing on a passing shooting star. but i realize greater things wasn't like that, it was those small moments, like when someone wrote you a letter, someone thanking you for the small things you did, or having your family with you, your mother scolding you because you ate too much at midnight, or a stranger you pass through smiling at you and telling you there story, a baby smiling at you because you make a silly face, or when there are times that you are so down and sad but then there this message you will receive that will cheer you up, or that prayer you been praying has been answered and you forgot you are living in that prayer, those things perhaps small, but those things when compiled, recognize, appreciated, and cherished becomes the greater things.

Our savior invites us to see those greater things!!!

"Count your many blessings name them one by one, and see what the lord hath done🎵🎶" Hymn (Count your blessings)

-May love find you in thousands small ways💌

"I came to see what is invisible to the naked eye, because i magnify"

It's easy to see our problems rather than the solutions, our shortcomings rather than our achievements, our weaknesses rather than our strengths, and the feeling of being unworthy to be called unto something you know is greater than you can comprehend, to look for his hand in your life, even if the path seems blurry or unclear, or even confusing. But even in doubt as you push through, you will start to see something; you start to see his hand. You became confident knowing you see him holding you, you started to recognize miracles even in times where everything seems not to be going your way, you started learning your whys for doing the things that you do, you started to see those people, not just their outer appearance but their heart, and more than anything, you started seeing yourself become like Jesus Christ.

"When we consecrate our meager but best effort, God magnifies it. When we sacrifice for Jesus Christ he sanctifies us. This is the transformative power of God's Grace."
-Elder Steven D. Shumway
