"And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no."

The Israelites had just witnessed powerful miracles—freedom from Egypt, the Red Sea parting, and God’s mighty hand at work. You would expect them to keep moving straight toward the Promised Land.
But instead, they stopped.
For almost eleven months, they stayed at Mount Sinai. No movement, no visible progress. Yet in that stillness, God was speaking, teaching, and shaping them. He wasn’t just bringing them out of Egypt—He was preparing them to become His people.
Don’t rush the process.
What feels like a delay may actually be God forming you for what’s ahead.
