THE BAD NEWS & THE GOOD NEWS 📖✨
We can't truly appreciate the rescue if we don’t understand what we’re being rescued from. The Bible breaks down the reality of our situation—and the incredible hope we have—in two powerful verses.
The Bad News: The Problem of SIN
❌ S - Sin is Universal: "...for all have sinned..." (Romans 3:23). Rich or poor, young or old—nobody is excluded.
❌ I - Insufficient Human Righteousness: "...and fall short of the glory of God." Our own efforts will never be enough.
❌ N - Necessary Consequences: "...for the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23). Just like a job pays wages, sin pays a wage. That wage is death—physical, spiritual, and eternal separation from God.
The Good News: The Response of Grace
🎁 G - Gift of God through Christ: "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
That word "BUT" changes everything. It turns condemnation into salvation, and death into life. We earned death, but Christ gifts us life. Have you accepted the gift? 🙏👇
