TOPIC:GOD IS NEVER LATE

KEY VERSE:
“Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again” (John 11:23).

READ:JOHN 11:18-32

MESSAGE:
An anonymous author once wrote, “God is not late to events. He also does not come too early. He is always at the right time because His timing is perfect. He does not calculate as men do, but His decisions are based on what is best at His right time”.

In today’s passage, Jesus was not in a hurry to go to Bethany and check on His friend, even though He had been informed that Lazarus was sick. He knew that the “sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby”. Incidentally, Lazarus died while Jesus was still far away. Martha, one of the sisters of Lazarus, knew that Jesus could raise her brother but was not sure how that would happen. Even when Jesus assured her that Lazarus would live again, her thoughts went to the resurrection on the last day. However, Jesus was telling her what He would do at that very moment. Christ used the occasion to tell her and others that He was the resurrection and the life.

The uniform confession of Martha and Mary, “Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died,” was an insinuation that Christ arrived too late. But the Lord is never late for any situation. Jesus delayed His going for two days because He knew He would be glorified through the miracle. Four days in the grave was enough time to confirm Lazarus’ death. Often, God begins to work when we come to the end of our wits.

Are you going through any challenging situation and have lost hope? Are you troubled by an ailment or a perplexing situation? Have people given up on you? Rest assured, the Lord will not come late. He raised Lazarus who was dead for four days. You will come out of the hopeless situation.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God’s timing is perfect.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
TUESDAY 25TH JUNE

GIVE VALUE TO YOUR RESOURCES!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).

The way to give value and direction to your resources is to invest them in the Kingdom of God. Outside of the Kingdom of God, money holds little significance. Thereisn't anyone who doesn't have money. Do you know why?Because everything holds value—everything has worth.

That means currency isn’t the real money; it’s just what is used in measuring the real money. Therefore, in a sense, everything is money. Once you comprehend this, you'll realise that God has bestowed upon you the wisdom to manage finances.

The reason those who are labelled wealthy seem to have the advantage over those termed as poor is due to their understanding of this mystery. Once you gain the same understanding, suddenly you’ll start seeing value in everything that God gives you. Everything that God gives you suddenly has power, and then you discover you can do anything and have anything.

With this understanding, the words of the Lord Jesus will mean more to you. He said,“…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Commit your resources to this. Make it possible for more and more people to receive God’s Word by sponsoring the distribution of Bibles and Rhapsody of Realities around the world.

Make it your mission to take the Gospel to every man’s world. This is the way to expand your reach for the Kingdom and make a quick and lasting impact.

PRAYER,
Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom to understand the true value of the resources you’ve given to me; I’m conscious that you’ve made all grace abound towards me so that I’m divinely enabled to give immensely towards Kingdom expansion. I utilise the abundance you've provided for your Kingdom's advancement. I’ll steward my resources effectively, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
2 Corinthians 9:8-11
And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Philippians 4:15-17
Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. 16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. 17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
WEDNESDAY 19TH JUNE

PRACTICAL WISDOM!

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence (Ephesians 1:7-8).

‭In Ephesians 1:7-8, the Apostle Paul unveils a profound truth: every kind of wisdom has been lavished upon us in Christ.

Read the 8th verse in the Amplified Classic; it says, “Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence).” Pause and let the weight of this revelation sink in.

Recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 12:42; He said, "The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here." Solomon was given practical wisdom; it’s the same word that’s translated in our theme verse as “Prudence.”

The Greek Septuagint tells us that the wisdom that God gave to Solomon was “Phronesis.” In Luke 1:17, it’s described as “the wisdom of the just”: “And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

“Phronesis” is practical wisdom, and it’s available to us in Christ. Christ has been made unto you wisdom from God. That practical wisdom empowers you to apply, utilize and immerse yourself in various fields with divineinsight. Whether in politics, law, business, medicine, or any profession, you become exceptional.

This wisdom is a spiritual elixir that locates you within the framework of God's will, beyond your natural understanding, causing you to do God's things God's way, in God's time for God's purpose. It's also a mind-set; an excellent mind-set that causes you to think in a certain way and to say the right things in the right way at the right time for the right purpose in the right place. Hallelujah!

PRAYER,
Dear Father, I affirm that in Christ, I have access to practical wisdom. I walk in divine wisdom; I do and say the right things at the right time, in the right way, for God’s purpose. Christ, my wisdom, effectively works in me to produce fruits and works of righteousness to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

ABSOLUTE DOMINION OVER ALL DEVILS!

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19)

‭In his letter to the Ephesians, the Apostle Paul unveils the reality of the spiritual warfare we are engaged in and describes the hierarchy of demoniacal forces. We’re up against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

Observe it says spiritual wickedness in high places, not “wicked spirits in high places.” All of those listed are also wicked spirits, but some demons are more wicked than others. However, it makes no difference the hierarchy of demons and how wicked they’re described; they’re all under your feet, including their boss—Satan, himself!

You have superior authority in the spiritual because you function in and by the Name of Jesus Christ. You live and function in the Kingdom of light where Satan has no rights. You live in the victory and authority of Jesus Christ.

You have something that the devils can’t withstand—the Name of Jesus. Use it, and triumph gloriously, always! Exercise your dominion in Christ and cast out devils everywhere. Take charge of your nation, city, town and environment. Take charge of your life. Refuse to allow Satan run rampage in your home. You’re superior to him and his cohorts of hell; Jesus gave you absolute dominion over them. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION:
I live and function in the Kingdom of light, with authority over Satan and the cohorts of darkness. I’ve been vested with all power and authority to subdue and decimate satanic forces and activities. I speak in the authority of Jesus even now, and declare that God’s will, plans and purposes for the nations of the world are established; His righteousness rules in men’s hearts and God’s Kingdom is established in the earth, and in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

Matthew 10:7-8
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Luke 10:17-19
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

GO HIGHER AND HIGHER

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. Hosea 6:3 KJV

In any school, the students aren’t exposed to the same level of knowledge day in and day out. They’re taught based on the curriculum designed for the different classes. Hence, someone in a certain class may not have all the available information on a particular subject until they ascend to a higher class. Similarly, the Bible makes it clear that we receive the revelations of God’s Word at different levels. Some Christians have general insight into the Word of God, while others have higher revelations of Scripture. The difference between the two groups depends on the level of truth at which they function.

For instance, some Christians believe God wants to bless them, which is beautiful. They believe God’s blessings will come into their lives when they yield to His Word and shun all manner of unbelief. Some others have a higher revelation of the same truth; they believe God isn’t just about to bless them but that He has already blessed them. All they require is to walk in the finished work of Christ.

As beautiful as this latter truth is, there’s yet a higher revelation, which is the fact that God doesn’t need to bless you because you were born blessed! His blessing is part of the new nature you were born with! There are more revelations of the Word than you currently have. Therefore, increase your Word-bank and constantly apply what you know at each new level. That way, the Holy Spirit will reveal deeper truths to you, thereby making your walk with Him an ever-richer experience.

DECLARATION
Dear Father, thank you for opening the eyes of my heart to see the truth of your Word beyond the letters. As I study and meditate on your Word today, I receive deeper truths that’ll help me know you more and serve you better, in Jesus’ Name.

Child of God, it is time to shift from worldly explanations of life's events, and elevate to God's way of defining situations. Though Lazarus was gravely ill, Jesus did not call his condition a sickness, but an opportunity for God to be glorified.

What challenge are you facing today? Remember, we are in a season where a Divine conversion is taking place.Your greatest struggle will become the highest display of the Glory of God.

Continue to have a fruitful and productive week!

DON’T LEAVE THEM HANGING!

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2).

‭In Christianity, there’s a Christian way of life. But Christianity itself is not a way of life. Therefore, when we lead souls to Christ, it's important to guide them to be actively involved in a local church. We must ensure they become integral members of a church, not leaving them to navigate their newfound faith alone. They must be nurtured in the Christian way of life.

Once they receive salvation, show them that receiving salvation is only the beginning; they have to live the Christian life. And the only way they’re going to learn it and grow as they should is by learning God’s Word. 1 Timothy 3:15 says, “…the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” So, the Church is the place to learn the Word of God.

It brings to mind what the Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 2:2: “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” How do children learn? Children learn not just by instruction but also by observation. By actively participating in the church, spiritual children or “babes” can observe and emulate the attitudes and practices of mature Christians.

It’s one of the ways they know how to pray and cultivate the right attitudes and spirit of prayer. Also, in church, they learn how to worship God and sing the right songs; they learn how to conduct themselves with decency; they learn how to apply their faith in the face of belligerent challenges.

Learning how to do these things isn’t just by instruction alone, it also comes through observing the behaviour, communication, and actions of other Christians in the Faith. The same Spirit lives in them and causes them to do the things that we do. So, when you win souls, ensure that they’re fully engrafted into the local church. Pray for them; follow them up until they become rooted and grounded in the faith and established in the Word. Hallelujah!

PRAYER,
Dear Father, I pray for new converts all over the world today, that Christ be formed in their hearts; they’re rooted and grounded in God’s overwhelming love, being fully persuaded that in Christ alone lies their joy and total fulfilment. I declare that they’re strengthened to become effective witnesses of Christ's love and truth in the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Ephesians 4:11-14
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

ACKNOWLEDGE CHRIST AS YOUR WISDOM!

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).

‭Oftentimes, many Christians acknowledge Christ as their righteousness, sanctification, and justification, yet they overlook the profound reality that Christ is their wisdom. Read the first few words of ouropening scripture again; it says, “…Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom….”

It brings to mind what Paul said in Colossians 1:27; “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” When man sinned, he fell short of the glory of God, but Christ in you, glory restored. In the same way, Christ in you, wisdom has come. Christ is your wisdom, so don’t ask Him for wisdom anymore.

Have you ever encountered individuals who don't reason soundly or correctly? During a discussion, their responses leave you bewildered, their thought pattern reeks of thoughtlessness; it’s like foolishness on rampage. Sadly, they’re oblivious to their own lack of insight. When prompted to express themselves publicly, for example, their utterances become disconcerting. This is because wisdom eludes them.

Wisdom is not something acquired in the classroom, and it doesn't necessarily come with age; it’s from God. As a Christian, you have access to divine wisdom because Jesus Christ is the embodiment of all wisdom. But you see, you must boldly affirm that He’s your wisdom to walk in the reality of it.

Even now, declare, “Christ is my wisdom; therefore, I have wisdom over all crises of life and for every situation.” Hallelujah! When you walk in divine wisdom you don’t give vent to foolish reasonings or communications; your ideas, thoughts and words are sound and excellent. You’re sagacious, discerning, perceptive and prudent. You’ll always, and at all times, make accurate judgments and decisions.

PRAYER,
Dear Father, thank you, for I’m born after the image of Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Christ is my wisdom; therefore, I make wise, right and perfect decisions in line with your divine destiny for my life. I live in your will, guided, guarded and propelled by wisdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
1 Corinthians 2:6-7
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Proverbs 3:13
Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom, and the man [that] getteth understanding.

Colossians 2:2-3 NIV
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

FAITH’S PROCLAMATIONS!

The life of my body is no longer of blood, but by the Spirit of God. That same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in me. Hallelujah! He is in my head! He is in my hands! He is in my feet! He's all over me! It is not possible for my blood to be infected, because that same Spirit causes divine vitalization in my body!

From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, the Holy Ghost vitalizes my mortal body! My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost! I am His living tabernacle; therefore no sickness and no infirmity can share these quarters with the Holy Spirit!

I declare that the presence of that same Spirit within me causes every disease germ that tries to get in my body to die, and pass out of my system! There is a disease destroying force at work in my physical body. It makes no difference how the sickness tries to get in, that Spirit burns up every trace of sickness! No infection can stay in my body! No tumor can successfully grow in my body!

I am divinely connected to an endless supply of health and success! I live each day of my life, full of life, and invigorated by the power of the Holy Ghost at work in me! I live and walk in dominion every day of my life. I reign as a king over devils, and over every sickness! Nothing can put me down because I am more than a conqueror! Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world! I know who I am! Thank you Jesus. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
WEDNESDAY 5TH JUNE

THE INHERITANCE IS ALREADY YOURS!
.that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Acts 26:18).

Every child of God is born into an incorruptible inheritance in Christ. There’s an inheritance for you. The Apostle Paul refers to it in Ephesians 3:8 as unsearchable riches: …the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out]” (AMPC).

If this is true, and thank God it is, why then are there many people who are struggling in life when they ought to be living in God’s abundant blessings? It’s because of their ignorance of God’s truths. God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…

No wonder Paul said in Acts 20:32, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”The inheritance is already yours; but through study and meditation on the Word, you enjoy that which is already yours in Christ.

Everything that God has placed in this world is not for the angels or Himself but for us! If it is true, why should a Christian labour endlessly just to get something which belongs to him in Christ? Something is wrong.

The Bible says He’s already blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). God already did everything He needed to do about the salvation, health and prosperity of every man, woman, boy and girl on the face of earth. Now, He wants everyone to live in blessings and enjoy their inheritance.

2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness_ Can you now see that there’s no need for you to struggle in life? You’ve been brought into a life of manifold blessings.

The Bible says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits (Psalm 68:19). Psalm 18:19 says, _“He brought me forth also into a large place… That’s the place of honour, wealth and great glory; your place of inheritance in Christ where you prosper and all your needs are met. The inheritance is already yours; so wake up and enjoy that which belongs to you in Christ.

PRAYER,
Dear Father, I rejoice in the unsearchable riches that are mine through the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, I declare my faith in your Word and walk in the fullness of the incorruptible inheritance I have in Him. I function from the place of blessing and abundance in Christ; the place of honour, wealth and great glory, where all my needs are met in your supply system, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
