Prayer to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary

O Most Holy Virgin Mary,
Our Lady of the Rosary,
you who lead us always to your Son, Jesus,
teach us to pray with faith, hope, and love.

Help us to meditate upon the mysteries of the Holy Rosary,
so that we may imitate the virtues of Christ
and draw closer to His Sacred Heart.

Protect our families, strengthen the Church,
comfort the suffering, and guide sinners back to God.
Obtain for us the grace to persevere in prayer
and to remain faithful to the Gospel.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary,
pray for us and lead us safely to eternal life.

Through Christ our Lord.

‎Dear Monsignori, Reverences, and Parish Secretaries,
‎
‎Greetings of peace!
‎
‎In connection with the forthcoming ordinations to the Sacred Order of Priests in the Diocese of Sorsogon, I wish to express my gratitude to those parishes that have already published and announced the Banns during the Masses last Sunday, 27 September 2026. Thank you for your prompt attention and cooperation.
‎
‎For those parishes that have not yet made the announcement, there is no cause for concern. The required three Sundays of publication may still be fulfilled on 4, 11, and 18 October 2026.
‎
‎The Banns concern the following candidates:
‎

‎I. PUBLICATION OF THE BANNS
‎
‎The Banns are to be published and announced during all Masses, including anticipated Masses, on three Sundays.
‎
‎Parishes that have already published the Banns on 27 September may continue with the succeeding Sundays, 4 and 11 October, to complete the three publications.
‎
‎Parishes that have not yet published the Banns may do so on 4, 11, and 18 October.
‎
‎Kindly ensure that the Banns are clearly announced during the Masses and that the dates of publication are properly recorded.
‎
‎II. REPORTING OF POSSIBLE IMPEDIMENTS
‎
‎As stated in the Banns, anyone who has knowledge of any impediment or hindrance to the ordination of any of the candidates is requested to communicate such information as soon as possible to the Parish Priest or directly to the Bishop through the Chancery.
‎
‎Should any report be received, the Parish Priest is requested to forward it promptly to the Chancery, observing the appropriate confidentiality and applicable canonical procedures.
‎
‎III. COMPLIANCE REPLY FORM
‎
‎For proper documentation, all parishes are requested to accomplish the attached Compliance Reply Form after completing the three Sundays of publication.
‎
‎The form should indicate:
‎
· ‎The dates on which the Banns were published and announced;
· ‎Whether any information concerning possible impediments was received; and
· ‎If applicable, whether such information has been forwarded to the Chancery.
‎
‎If no report or information was received, kindly indicate this explicitly in the form.
‎
‎The accomplished form may be submitted to the Chancery through the diocesan email address: [email protected].
‎
‎IV. ASSISTANCE OF PARISH SECRETARIES
‎
‎Parish Secretaries are kindly requested to assist their respective Parish Priests in ensuring the timely publication of the Banns, the proper recording of the dates of publication, and the completion and submission of the Compliance Reply Form.
‎

Prayer to the Holy Guardian Angels

O Lord, who has given each of us a guardian angel to watch over us,
we thank You for this divine protection and ask for Your continued grace.

Guardian angels, sent by God to guard and guide us,
be with us in every moment of our lives.
Protect us from all danger, from the snares of the enemy,
and keep us safe in body, mind, and spirit.

Help us to trust in Your care, to listen to Your gentle guidance,
and to walk in the light of Your love.
May we always be mindful of Your presence,
and may our hearts be open to the gifts of Your protection.

We ask this through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
the Mother of God, and through the communion of all the saints.

Prayer to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus

O Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, gentle and humble intercessor,
who taught us that “the little things are the great things,”
we come before you with hearts full of trust and hope.

You who lived in the cloister of Lisieux,
who whispered the words of the Child Jesus to the world,
grant that we may learn to love as He loves:
with a pure heart, with a simple faith,
and with a willingness to give all that we have to God.

Help us to see the divine in the ordinary moments of our lives—
in the bread we eat, the breath we take, the hands that work and pray.
May we always remember that the Child Jesus is with us,
and that His love is the source of all our joy.

Saint Thérèse, pray for us that we may follow the path of humility,
to be “little saints” in the eyes of God,
and that we may be instruments of His peace in the world.

Prayer to the Holy Archangels

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God, cast into hell Satan
and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Saint Gabriel the Archangel,
messenger of God’s saving plan,
help us to listen faithfully to God’s word,
to proclaim the Gospel with courage,
and to respond generously to God’s call. Amen.

Saint Raphael the Archangel,
guide and companion of those who journey,

In the face of death,

even a thousand times,
in defense of your Christian faith.

Today, the whole world marvels
at the courage and faith you have shown.
We, here in the Philippines, are proud of you
as our countryman and brother.

We pray to you,
as a father, watch over our families.
Keep us united in love.

You who died in a foreign land,
watch over and protect all Filipinos
who are working in different countries.
May they be safe, strong in faith,
