The Barcelona National Comprehensive High School Chorale, fondly known as Chou-Rag-It Voices, is a dynamic and spirited vocal ensemble rooted in both faith and musical excellence under the baton of Mr. Carlo G. Estrabela. Guided by his dedication and passion, the group has flourished into a celebrated choral force within the region, blending youthful energy with musical discipline.

Originally formed as a church choir, the group was founded by the late Pearlie Cuales, whose vision and passion laid the foundation for its growth. Leadership was later handed to Niño Dellomas, then co-conducted by Eden Robles in the campus, and is now currently headed by Mr. Estrabela, whose energy and dedication continue to elevate the ensemble.

Under Mr. Estrabela’s baton, Chou-Rag-It Voices has flourished not only in technical skill but in artistry and performance presence. In 2019, they emerged as Champion in the Mano Po Nanay, Mano Po Tatay competition, also winning Best Choreography for their dynamic and heartfelt performance.

Their creative versatility shone through in 2023, when they earned 2nd Place in the Math Jingle Competition, showcasing their ability to blend music with education and advocacy.

Most recently, in 2025, the group proudly claimed the title of 1st Runner-Up in the 9th Regional Choir Competition and in the 1st Palawan Choir Festival, where they received a Gold Diploma in the C2– Youth Choir Category and a Grand Prix Finalist, marking another milestone in their journey toward regional and international acclaim.

From humble church beginnings to competitive success, Chou-Rag-It Voices stands as a testament to passion, teamwork, and the enduring power of music—bringing pride to Barcelona National Comprehensive High School and inspiration to the community they serve.
