Today, we celebrate the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels, whom God lovingly gives to guide, protect, and accompany us throughout our lives. They remind us that we are never alone and that God is always watching over us with His loving care.

May we always be grateful for the presence of our guardian angels and remain open to God's guidance in our daily lives. May they lead us closer to God, protect us from harm, and help us grow in faith, hope, and love.

OCTOBER 1, 2026 | MEMORIAL OF ST. THERESE OF LISIEUX

On this day, we remember and honor St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the Little Flower of Jesus. Despite living a simple and hidden life, her love for God became a powerful witness to the Church. She showed us that holiness is not always found in great achievements, but in offering our ordinary actions with love.

May her example remind us to remain humble, trust in God's love, and faithfully follow Him in the little things of everyday life.

SEPTEMBER 30, 2026 | MONTHLY RECOLLECTION

The seminarians of Our Lady of Peñafrancia Seminary are grateful for the opportunity to have our monthly recollection facilitated by Rev. Fr. Bernabe V. Vargas Jr., Spiritual Director of Our Lady of Peñafrancia Minor Seminary.

We sincerely thank you, Father, for sharing your reflections and for guiding us in our vocation. Your words reminded us to deepen our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and to remain faithful to Him even in the midst of suffering and difficulties.

Following Christ is not always easy. It calls us to embrace sacrifice, persevere in faith, and remain steadfast in His love each day. May your reflection continue to inspire us as we strive to grow in our vocation and follow Christ more faithfully.

May Ina continue to bless you, strengthen you, and preserve you in her Son, Jesus Christ.

Today, we celebrate the memorial of St. Jerome of Stridon, a priest and Doctor of the Church who dedicated his life to studying and sharing the Word of God.

His love for Sacred Scripture reminds us to know God's Word, live it in our daily lives, and allow it to bring us closer to Christ.

Today, Cabo Fortitude joyfully celebrates the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, its patron saint.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dexter R. De Lumen, Spiritual Director of OLPS Discipleship Stage and Cabo Priest of Cabo Fortitude.

SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 | FEAST OF STS. MICHAEL, GABRIEL, AND RAPHAEL

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of Sts. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, the holy Archangels, who faithfully serve God and carry out His divine will. Their presence in Sacred Scripture reminds us that God works in ways beyond what we can see and that He continually guides, protects, and accompanies His people.

St. Michael, whose name means “Who is like God?”, reminds us to remain courageous in the face of evil and to stand firmly in our faith. His example calls us to defend what is good and to place our trust in the power and goodness of God.

St. Gabriel, the messenger of God, reminds us of the importance of listening and responding to God's call. Through his message to Mary, we see the beauty of obedience and trust in God's plan. His example encourages us to open our hearts and say yes to God's will, even when we do not fully understand where He is leading us.

St. Raphael, whose name means “God heals,” reminds us of God's loving presence throughout our journey. He teaches us to trust in God's guidance and to recognize that the Lord never abandons us, especially in moments when we need His help and direction.

As we celebrate their feast, may the holy Archangels inspire us to become faithful servants of God—courageous like Michael, obedient like Gabriel, and trusting like Raphael. May their intercession strengthen us in our journey of faith and help us to faithfully fulfill the mission God has entrusted to each of us.

Today, we honor St. Lorenzo Ruiz and his companions, faithful witnesses of Christ who courageously gave their lives for the faith. St. Lorenzo, the first Filipino saint, reminds us that true faith remains steadfast even in the face of great trials.

May their courage strengthen us to remain faithful to Christ, their perseverance inspire us in times of difficulty, and their love for God encourage us to live our vocation with sincerity and devotion.

SEPTEMBER 26–27, 2026 | LIVE CATHOLIC CONFERENCE IN LEGAZPI CITY

Over these two beautiful days, the seminarians of the Diocese of Sorsogon participated in the Live Catholic Conference in Legazpi City.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Harong kan Sagrada Familia for warmly welcoming us, providing us with a place to stay overnight, and for your generous hospitality.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to CFC SFC Sorsogon for guiding us and warmly welcoming us to this wonderful event.
