Singing Contest Guidelines

1. Eligibility
• Open to all parishioner of Saint Raymond Nonnatus Parish only aged 12 and above.
• Contestants must register on or before August 10, 2026.
Registration form is available at Buenavista Parish
• Solo performers only (no duets or groups, unless specified).

2. Registration
• Fill out the official entry form.
• Submit one song choice.
• Provide minus-one track (instrumental) in MP3 format.

3. Contest Flow
• Elimination Round: Each contestant performs one song.
• Final Round: Selected finalists perform a second song.
• Time limit per performance: 3–5 minutes.

4. Song Selection
• Songs must be wholesome and appropriate for a parish audience.
• No offensive or vulgar lyrics.
• Contestants may sing in English, Tagalog, or Bicol.

5. Judging Criteria

Musicality & Rhythm 20%
Stage Presence 20%
Audience Impact 10%
Overall Performance 10%

6. Scoring & Results
• Judges’ scores are final and irrevocable.
• Only Top 7 from elimination round will advance to final rounds
• Top 3 contestants will be awarded (Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up).

7. Prizes
• Champion: 2,500.00 + cash, trophy, certificate.
• 1st Runners-up: 1,000.00 + cash, trophy, certificate
• 2nd Runners-up: 700.00 + cash, trophy, certificate
• All participants receive certificates of participation.

8. General Rules
• Contestants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the program starts.
• Any form of misconduct may lead to disqualification.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to make final decisions on contest matters.

🕺 1st Street Dance Competition Mechanics

1. Eligibility
• Open to all parishioner of Saint Raymond Nonnatus parish groups/teams aged 12- above.
• Each team must consist of 25–35 members.
• Registration deadline: July 20, 2026.

2. Registration
• Fill out the official entry form.
• Submit group name and short background/introduction.

3. Contest Flow
• Opening Parade: Teams will be introduced before the competition begins.
• During the Parade: Only the original music will be play during the street dance. The official music is available to the PYM.
4. Performance Round:
• Time limit per performance during exhibition: 3–5 minutes.
• Each cluster have a privilege to used any festival music. What ever they want. To them to be comfortable during competition.

5. Dance Guidelines
• Dance routines must be wholesome and appropriate for a parish audience.
• No vulgar, offensive, or overly suggestive movements.
• Costumes must be decent and suitable for a family-friendly event.
• Props are allowed but must be safe and manageable.

6. Judging Criteria for Street Dance/Parade

​Choreography and Synchronization – 15%
​Showmanship and Energy – 10%
​Creativity and Formation – 10%
​Costume and Visual Impact – 5%

​Execution and Synchronization – 15%
​Costume and Props – 5%
​Overall Impact – 5%

7. Scoring & Results

30 % from Street Dance/Parade
70% from Exhibition

• Judges’ scores are final and irrevocable.
• Awards: Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2ND Runner-Up 3rd Runner-Up.
• Special awards may be given (e.g., Best Costume, Best in Choreography).
