THE POWER OF THE HOLY COMMUNION
1 Corinthians 11:24-26 NIV
[24] and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
[25] In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
[26] For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

TALINHAGA NG DAKILANG HANDAAN
Lucas 14:15-24
[15] Nang marinig iyon ng isa sa mga nakaupo sa may mesa, sinabi niya kay Jesus, “Mapalad ang taong makakasalo sa handaan sa kaharian ng Dios!”
[16] Sumagot si Jesus, “Isang lalaki ang naghanda ng isang malaking salu-salo, at marami siyang inanyayahan.
[17] Nang dumating ang oras ng handaan, inutusan niya ang kanyang alipin at ipinasabi sa mga inanyayahan, ‘Halina kayo, handa na ang lahat!’
[18] Ngunit nagdahilan silang lahat. Ang sabi ng una, ‘Nakabili ako ng bukid at kailangan ko itong puntahan. Kayo na sana ang bahalang magpaumanhin sa akin.’
[19] Sinabi naman ng isa, ‘Nakabili ako ng limang magkapares na baka at kailangang masubukan ko sa bukid ang mga iyon. Kayo na sana ang bahalang magpaumanhin sa akin.’
[20] Sinabi naman ng isa, ‘Ako'y bagong kasal, kaya't hindi ako makakadalo.’
[21] “Bumalik ang alipin at ibinalita ito sa kanyang panginoon. Nagalit ang panginoon at sinabi sa alipin, ‘Pumunta ka kaagad sa mga lansangan at sa makikipot na daan ng lungsod at isama mo rito ang mga mahihirap, mga lumpo, mga bulag, at mga pilay.’
[22] Pagkatapos sinabi ng alipin, ‘Panginoon, nagawa ko na po ang iniutos ninyo, ngunit marami pang bakanteng upuan.’
[23] Kaya't sinabi ng panginoon sa alipin, ‘Pumunta ka sa mga lansangan at sa mga daan, at pilitin mong pumarito ang sinumang makita mo upang mapuno ang aking bahay.
[24] Sinasabi ko sa inyo, isa man sa mga unang inanyayahan ay hindi makakatikim ng aking handa!’”

THE MIRACLE OF GIVING
2 Corinthians 9:6-15 NIV
[6] Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
[7] Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
[8] And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
[9] As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.”
[10] Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
[11] You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
[12] This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
[13] Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.
[14] And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.
[15] Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

THE BENEFITS OF ABIDING IN CHRIST
John 15:1-7
[1] “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
[2] He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
[3] You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you
[4] Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
[5] “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
[6] If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
[7] If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

UNDERSTANDING THE REAL CHURCH
Ephesians 5:21-33
[21] Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
[22] Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
[23] For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
[24] Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
[25] Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
[26] to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
[27] and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
[28] In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
[29] After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church—
[30] for we are members of his body.
[31] “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
[32] This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.
[33] However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Ephesians 5:21-29, 31-33
[21] Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
