READ | Echoes of Grace: Reflections from our Youth
From the stillness of prayer to the vibrant energy of fellowship, the Summer Youth Camp - INSPIRE 2026 has left an indelible mark on the hearts of our young faithful. Here, some of our delegates from the Holy Family Parish share their personal encounters with God and the profound realizations they carry home.
In these reflections, witness how a two days of devotion can ignite a lifelong mission of service and purpose.
"The Summer Youth Camp in Cordova, Amulung became a meaningful experience that helped me grow in faith and realize my purpose as a young servant of God. One of the most powerful lessons came from the โTatlong Kโ shared by Father PaoloโKapangyarihan, Kaligayahan, at Kayamanan. At first, it sounded simple, but as I reflected on it, I realized how deep it truly was. As youth, we are not insignificant or too young to matter. We are given kapangyarihan not to boast, but to inspire; kaligayahan not just to feel, but to share through service; and kayamanan not in material things, but in being part of the Churchโs living hope for the future. It made me realize that my life has weight, meaning, and a mission far greater than what I sometimes see in myself.
Another moment that stayed with me was when I heard Philippians 4:13: โI can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.โ And when Father Paolo said, โHindi ka bibigyan ni Lord ng maliit na problema,โ something inside me softened. I understood that my struggles are not punishmentsโthey are invitations. Every difficulty is Godโs way of revealing strength I did not know I had, not because I am enough on my own, but because Christ is enough in me. Even in moments when I feel weak, I am still held, still guided, still being shaped
Ina Jakieโs talk about inspiration and motivation also touched me deeply. I used to think they were the same, but I realized motivation is temporaryโit comes and goes with feelings. Inspiration, however, stays. It is rooted in purpose, in love, in something deeper than emotion. That made me reflect on my service to God. I should not serve Him only when I feel strong or happy, but even in silence, even in tiredness, even in moments when I do not fully understandโbecause real faith is not built on feelings, but on commitment and love that remains."
