𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗜𝗜

With joy and thanksgiving, the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Immaculate Conception, Sogod, Southern Leyte, rejoices in the ordination of one of our own Rev. Agapito Manlunas III y Villamor to the Sacred Order of Deacons.

Earlier today, August 8, 2025, His Excellency, Most Rev. Precioso D. Cantillas, SDB, DD, Bishop of Maasin, conferred the sacred ordination during the solemn celebration held at our very own shrine at 10:00 AM.

We praise and thank the Lord for this gift of vocation springing from our parish community. May He who has begun the good work in Rev. Phytes bring it to fulfillment in His perfect time.

Through the loving intercession of the Birhen sa Sogod, La Purisima Concepcion, let us continue to offer our prayers for him as he begins his ordained ministry and for a flourishing of priestly vocations in our diocese.
