BCBP Sogod Chapter 11th Anniversary
💜 STANDING FIRM IN FAITH FOR 11 BLESSED YEARS 💜

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, the BCBP Sogod Chapter, South West Leyte Region celebrated its 11th Chapter Anniversary last September 6 at the SLSU Hotel Ballroom, anchored on the inspiring theme, “Standing Firm in Faith for 11 Blessed Years” from 1 Corinthians 15:58.

The celebration began with registration and a vibrant motorcade through Sogod, passing the BCBP Be Honest billboards at Sogod National High School, Sogod Public Market, and Sogod District Hospital—bringing our message of integrity and faith into the community. The morning continued with a Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Sogod Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Merwin Kangleon, followed by a meaningful Breakfast Meeting graced by couple sharers RCD Denchu Jose Decino and Jona Decino of BCBP Metro Manila Chapter, together with our first-time, second-time, and third-time breakfasters.

The celebration grew even more joyful as brothers and sisters from Baybay, Hilongos, Maasin, Hinunangan, San Juan, and Sogod gathered in fellowship, united by one faith and one brotherhood. The fellowship featured warm welcome remarks, inspiring messages from Bro. Anniever Antolihao, RCD South West Leyte Region, and Bro. Joseph Escalona, AMD Eastern Visayas, beautiful dance presentations from different units, CLP batches, Youth and Kids, and the San Juan Mission, along with exciting raffle prizes that brought even more smiles and excitement.

The day continued with a thanksgiving luncheon and a lively basketball tournament, making the celebration a beautiful blend of faith, fellowship, friendship, and fun.

Truly, it was a memorable and blessed celebration—a testament to God’s faithfulness throughout 11 wonderful years. As we look back with gratitude and forward with renewed purpose, may we continue to stand firm, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. 💜🙏

Happy 11th Anniversary, BCBP Sogod Chapter!

To God be all the glory!

This world offers conveniences. Food delivered to your door. Car seats with a massage. Favorite show at the push of a button. We tend to pursue comfort and settle into it while avoiding discomfort and challenges, such as learning new things. Workout. Having hard conversations. But growth does not come from comfort; growth arises from challenges. Appreciate and practice the art of daily discomforts. This is the secret sauce of many successful people I know.
