Last Saturday, April 25 2026, the Diocesan Shrine Parish of the Immaculate Conception became a sanctuary of peace as we gathered for the Vicarial Grand Taizé Prayer. It was more than just a gathering; it was a profound homecoming for the many hearts across the Sogod Bay Vicariate. As the soft glow of candlelight filled the shrine, the noise of the world faded away, replaced by the rhythmic beauty of meditative chants and the powerful weight of communal silence.
​In that stillness, we were reminded that our strength doesn’t always come from the hustle and the noise, but from the quiet moments where we surrender our burdens and simply exist in the presence of the Divine. To see our brothers and sisters from different parishes joined in one spirit was a beautiful testament to the unity of our Church.

To the young people of the Sogod Bay Vicariate who joined us, and to those searching for their path. Your presence is the heartbeat of our faith. In a world that constantly demands your attention and asks you to move faster, choosing to sit in silence is a courageous act of faith.

​Kaniadtong April 11, 2026, gisugdan sa Commission on Youth - ICP Sogod ang pagbisita sa matag chapel gikan sa Cluster 1 hangtod sa Cluster 6.

​Dili lang kini basta pagbisita, kondili usa ka higayon sa:

1. ​Pag-empower sa atong kabatan-onan aron mas mahimong aktibo sa simbahan.
2. ​Pagpangumusta sa kahimtang sa mga batan-on sa matag BEC.
3. ​Pag-ampo pinaagi sa Taizé, diin nakakaplag kita og kalinaw uban sa Ginoo.

​Padayon kita sa pagpangalagad mga Kalakbai!

​The event featured a meaningful Opening Mass, a grand motorcade, and a festive beach party celebration to conclude the day. We are grateful to be part of this enduring legacy of faith. 😇
