AMiCUS is grateful for the kind invitation from Sogod Adventist Youth Missionary to be part of its first church visitation at Hilaan SDA Church.

The brethren warmly welcomed us, and their happiness and hospitality made the experience truly memorable. We are thankful for the opportunity to connect, share, and strengthen the bonds of faith with our fellow church members. The day was filled with fellowship, learning, and joy of serving together in God's mission.

Southern Leyte State University - Sogod Campus joyfully celebrated Family Day through meaningful and heartwarming activity titled "๐๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ" held at the Plenary Hall last February 27, 2026.

The program featured inspiring messages from university leaders, engaging activities, fun games, and gift-giving that brought smiles to everyone present. During this special hour, the children were at heart of the program, making the celebration more lively and unforgettable.

One of the highlights of the event was the storytelling led by AMiCUS - SLSU Sogod Campus, where stories with valuable moral lessons were shared to inspire young minds. The children also enjoyed lively action songs that encourage participation, movement, and joyful interaction. These activities not only entertained the kids but also instilled values in fun and meaningful way.

Truly, the ๐๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ became a beautiful reminder of the importance of family, guidance, and unity within the university community.

Last February 24, 2026, we gathered at the AIS Building โ€“ Main Campus for a joyful and spirit-filled fellowship! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our AMICUS 3rd Bible Study Gathering was more than just a meeting it was a time to grow together in faith, unity, and purpose. Through exciting Bible games inspired by the teachings of the Bible, we learned that studying Godโ€™s Holy messages can be meaningful, interactive, and fun! ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŽ‰

We also practiced our religious song remix, lifting our voices in praise and preparing our hearts to glorify God through music. ๐ŸŽถโœจ

๐Ÿ“– โ€œLet the word of Christ dwell in you richlyโ€ฆ singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.โ€ โ€” Colossians 3:16

Indeed, when Godโ€™s Word fills our hearts, learning becomes joyful and worship becomes powerful. ๐Ÿ’›

AMiCUS-SLSU Main Campus successfully concluded the LEGAL INSIGHTS WEBINAR on February 17, 2026

Despite the pagsuway and unexpected challenges before and during the webinar, God reminded us that His plans will always prevail. What almost became an obstacle turned into a testimony of perseverance, purpose, and faith. ๐Ÿ™

We have successfully concluded our Legal Insights Webinar with Atty. Steffi Juris E. Tafalla, Public Attorney of PAO Sogod. The discussion on the evolution of our laws from R.A. 7877 to the Safe Spaces Act โ€” reminded us that the law exists to protect dignity, uphold justice, and create safe environments for all.

As we reflected on workplace harassment laws and accountability, we were also reminded that justice is not only a legal principle it is a reflection of Godโ€™s character. The law protects human dignity because every person is created in His image. When institutions promote safe spaces, they mirror Godโ€™s desire for peace, respect, and righteousness in our communities.

We deeply appreciate the brave participants who shared their experiences and sought advice during the open forum. Your courage to speak up reflects strength, and your voices contribute to building a culture of awareness and protection. Creating safe spaces is both a legal responsibility and a moral calling.

AMiCUS SLSU successfully conducted its Bible Study Gathering at the Conference Room, AIS Building. The program opened with welcoming remarks and an inspirational song, setting a meaningful tone for the evening.

A structured group dialogue focused on Service and Volunteering and Music and Worship, where participantsโ€”including invited guestsโ€”openly shared insights and experiences, fostering inclusivity, respect, and faith-centered learning. The activity was further enriched by interactive games that strengthened teamwork, self-expression, and fellowship. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ™
