𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝑯𝒊𝒎, 𝒊𝒕 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍.

Last Sunday, Labayug United Methodist Church joyfully celebrated Nutrition Month through the leadership of the UMWSCS, together with the Clergy Spouses Association (CSA) and our PWD/Differently Abled individuals.

As we reflected on Matthew 13:31–33, and 44–52, we were reminded that God's Kingdom is like a mustard seed and yeast, small beginnings that bring great transformation. May we continue to treasure His Word, nurture our faith, and become instruments of His love and grace in our community.

Last Sunday, we were reminded through Matthew 13:24–30 that even in a world where good and evil exist side by side, God calls us to remain steadfast in faith and trust in His perfect timing. Rather than losing heart, may we continue to live as faithful disciples, bearing the fruit of righteousness while leaving judgment in the hands of our just and loving God.

This Sunday, we are reminded that God’s faithfulness and love will always be like the quiet dawn that never fails to rise and the gentle rain that softens hardened ground. May we be the good soil who always choose to receive and nurture the seeds of faith, truth, and love that God has graciously sown within us, until our lives bloom with His purpose.

𝐔𝐌𝐌 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Last Sunday, we joyfully celebrated UMM Sunday at Labayug United Methodist Church, together with the celebration of Holy Communion. We also witnessed a beautiful moment as a child was brought before the Lord in prayer and dedication at the altar.

As we reflected on Matthew 11:16–19, 25–30, we were reminded of Jesus' loving invitation:

"𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁." — 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟭𝟭:𝟮𝟴

May we continue to trust in Christ with humble hearts, finding peace, strength, and rest in His presence. May God's grace and love be with us throughout the week.

A newly purchased drum set has been added to our church, a meaningful project made possible through the leadership of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) and the Labayug United Methodist Church.

May this instrument become a channel of joyful music unto the Lord, enriching our worship and lifting hearts closer to Him each time it is played.
