He is our Good Shepherd who protects and guides us, and He is also our Great Healer who has the power to heal and restore just as He healed the lame man. Truly, we have a powerful God who gives hope, healing, and everlasting life.

Tonight’s topic reminds us to guard ourselves from the desires of the flesh so that we will not fall into temptation. Instead, we are encouraged to run to God and carefully watch over our desires and emotions. Just as the Lord did not forget Joseph, He also gave him victory over temptation and desire. His life serves as a reminder that God remains faithful to those who continue to trust and obey Him.

A true woman is not shaped by the standards of this world, but by her character and faith in God. She is valuable and honorable, trustworthy and faithful, diligent and wise. Though no mother is perfect, but God remains perfect and through prayer, His Word, and a life centered on Him, a woman leaves a legacy of faith to her children.

This Sunday, we worshiped and honored God as we celebrated Mother’s Day. We we are reminded of the love, dedication, and prayers of every mother, knowing that God Himself gave us parents to guide and nurture us in faith. Truly, the prayer of a righteous mother is powerful and effective.

Let us choose to worship God no matter what situation we face and whatever happens in our lives. Just like rice goes through fire and boiling before becoming cooked rice, God also allows trials to refine and shape us. Even in difficult times, may we continue to worship and humble ourselves before Him, trusting that every process has a purpose.
