Topic: The Birth of Jesus

“The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” — Matthew 1:23

Today, our children learned about the birth of Jesus—the promised Savior and Immanuel, “God with us.” There is no greater gift we can give the next generation than introducing them to Christ and helping them grow in His Word.

Missional Life | Ptr. SJ Noriel

A life transformed by Jesus is never meant to end with us—it becomes a life on mission.

As Romans 10 reminds us, people cannot believe unless they hear, and they cannot hear unless someone tells them. We are called not only to love God but also to love people by sharing the hope of the Gospel.

How do we live missionally?

• Be Good & Kind to others - Your character can open hearts to Christ more than your words alone.
• Speak life. Let your words encourage, heal, and point people to hope instead of adding to their burdens.
• Love people genuinely. Real love cannot be faked. Pray for them, walk with them, and share not only the Good News but your life as well.

The Gospel is best seen through a life that reflects Jesus. Be the reason someone encounters His love today.

After all the praise and worship led by David and the Levites, after all they had done in ministry, David returned home to bless his household.

That speaks volumes.

Many people become so consumed with ministry that they unintentionally neglect their own families. But David shows us that faithfulness to God includes faithfulness at home.

We need to understand the importance of both ministry and family. It’s not about choosing one over the other—both matter to God.

The challenge is learning how to steward both well, so that in every area of our lives, God is glorified.

Jesus was speaking to His disciples about salvation, explaining that what is impossible for man is possible with God.

In life, you will eventually reach a point where something feels humanly impossible to accomplish.

The truth is, you were never meant to do it alone.

God knows your limits. He knows your weaknesses. That’s why Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Whatever you’re facing today, don’t rely on your own strength. Bring it to God. What seems impossible to you is not impossible for Him.

No amount of discipline alone can free you from sin. If it could, habitual sin wouldn’t be a struggle for many believers...

No amount of discipline alone can free you from sin. If it could, habitual sin wouldn’t be a struggle for many believers.

The answer isn’t trying harder, it’s surrendering deeper.

When you’re born again, your spirit is made alive, but your mind still needs to be renewed and your flesh must be trained to walk in step with the Holy Spirit.

The more you surrender to the Holy Spirit, the weaker the power of old sinful habits becomes. He transforms you from the inside out, teaching you to live a life that honors Christ.

Victory over sin is not achieved by self-effort. It is the fruit of daily surrender to the Holy Spirit.

God is holy. Marami ang nakakalimot nito.

Yes, God is loving, merciful, and full of grace. But He does not tolerate sin He hates it. The Bible says our God is a consuming fire. He burns away everything in our lives that is unholy until what remains is what brings Him glory.

Kapag lumalakad ka kasama ang Diyos, hindi Niya hahayaang manatili ang mga bagay na hindi nakalulugod sa Kanya. He lovingly refines us, burning away every impurity until we become more like Christ.

God doesn’t refine us to destroy us. He refines us because He loves us too much to leave us as we are.

Saan mo inilalagay ang tiwala mo? Sa sarili mo ba, sa ibang tao, o sa Diyos?

Kapag sa tao o sa sarili lang tayo umaasa, madalas nauuwi ito sa pagkadismaya. Pero kapag ang Diyos ang naging pag-asa at kumpiyansa natin, nagiging matatag tayo parang punong nakatanim sa tabi ng ilog. Kahit dumaan ang tagtuyot at mga pagsubok, hindi tayo natitinag dahil Siya ang nagsusustento sa atin.

Hindi ibig sabihin ay mawawala ang problema, pero habang dumadaan sa pagsubok ay mananatili kang matatag, may kapayapaan, at patuloy na magiging mabunga

Hindi ka kailanman lugi kapag ang Diyos ang pinili mong pagtiwalaan. Siya ang pag-asang hindi kailanman mauuwi sa pagkabigo.

Ilang beses mo na bang naipanalangin,

“Lord, will Mo ba ’to?”
“Lord, ano ba talaga ang will Mo sa buhay ko?”

Minsan feeling natin mahirap malaman ang kalooban ng Diyos. Pero ang sabi sa Romans 12:2:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Kapag binabago ng Diyos ang paraan ng pag-iisip natin, nagiging malinaw ang Kanyang will. We become able to discern, test, and recognize what is good, pleasing, and perfect.

Minsan hindi dahil hindi nagsasalita si Lord. Madalas, nakakapit pa tayo sa old mindset, old habits, at ways ng mundo. And the world’s way will always contradict God’s way.

Don’t just ask for God’s will. Allow Him to transform your mind.

Transformation comes first. Discernment follows.

The more your mind looks like Christ’s, the clearer God’s will becomes.
