O God, who founded the salvation of the human race on the Incarnation of your Word, give your peoples the mercy they implore, so that all may know there is no other name to be invoked but the Name of your Only Begotten Son. Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

Tonight, we will celebrate the Vigil in Honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God.

As we step into this New Year of Grace, we entrust our days, our and our hopes to the gentle yet powerful maternal intercession of Mary, Mother of God.

In her yes, let us learn trust; in her silence, let us learn hope; in her motherhood, let us find refuge.

May she lead us closer to her Son, teach us to ponder all things in our hearts (Luke 2:19), and accompany us as we walk forward confident that God is already at work in all that lies ahead.

Mary, mother of God, pray for us!
