𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 | 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 12, 2026 ✨⛪💡

A beautiful milestone was marked on Monday, January 12, 2026, as the timeless San Diego Parish Church formally lit up its newly illuminated façade after the 5:15 p.m. Holy Mass. The Lights On Ceremony celebrated not only light and beauty, but also faith, history, and community.

Led by Rev. Fr. John Rixi Padparan and Very Rev. Fr. Angelo Ansula, and joined by local leaders and partners, the moment reflected a strong spirit of collaboration between the Church, the local government, and partner institutions in honoring and preserving one of Silay’s most treasured landmarks.

As the church façade shone brighter, it stood as a symbol of hope, faith, and shared responsibility—reminding us that when we work together, we keep our heritage alive and our faith radiant for generations to come.

Today, we celebrate the blessed feast of Nuestro Padre Hesus Nazareno. He who carried the cross and bore our sufferings continues to walk with us through life’s joys and trials.

As countless devotees through the years have cried out, “Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, kaawaan mo kami,” we too place our burdens at His feet, knowing that His mercy endures forever.

May this feast rekindle in each of us a deeper love for Christ who calls us to take up our own crosses with courage and joy. Let us renew our trust in His loving providence, asking for His mercy, guidance, and peace in all we do.

Prayer

Dearest Jesus Nazareno,
Holy is Your name,
We praise and thank You.
You humbled Yourself and obeyed the will of the Father,
You carried the cross and offered Your life for our salvation.
Accept our prayers and sacrifices.
Grant that we who call upon You may imitate You,
Obey with fidelity and love,
Share the Good News,
Repent and renounce sin and evil,
And be a channel of mercy and peace to others.
We entrust everything to You,
We pray for those in need of Your help,
May our devotion bring us closer to You and our neighbor,
So that in love and unity, we may build up Your kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.

The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 held on January 4, 2025 was a joyful and meaningful celebration filled with laughter, gratitude, and fellowship. Though Christmas Day had already passed, the spirit of the season was still very much alive as the youth gathered together to celebrate God’s love and the gift of community. 🎁✨

Behind the beautifully adorned houses, the passionate actors, and the seamless production are weary, sleepless, and sometimes overwhelmed hearts. Yet despite the exhaustion, we remain deeply grateful—because God chose us to be instruments of this message of hope for everyone.

From the depths of our hearts, we thank everyone who stood with us—those who sacrificed their time, effort, comfort, and sleep. Your dedication turned this mission into a living testimony of faith, love, and service.

𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗻𝘂𝗹𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗻 2025 ✨💒💗

The Parish Youth Ministry joyfully presents our annual Panunuluyan, a cherished Filipino tradition that brings to life the sacred journey of Mary and Joseph as they searched for a home to welcome the Savior.

More than a reenactment, Panunuluyan is a mission of faith. It reminds us—especially the youth—to open not only our doors, but our hearts to Jesus, who comes to us in humility, love, and hope.

This sacred journey unfolds during Misa de Gallo, the most awaited time of service for the Youth Ministry, where joy and fulfillment are found in serving the Church and God. Beyond completing the Simbang Gabi, we made each night more meaningful through moments of reflection, prayer, and sharing.
