PETER didn’t start sinking because of the storm…

He started sinking because he shifted his focus.

Everyone talks about Peter the Apostle walking on water in Matthew 14.

And yes—that part is powerful.

But what’s even more revealing…
is when he began to sink.

The wind was already there.
The waves were already strong.

But as long as his eyes were on Jesus Christ…
he was doing the impossible.

Walking.
On.
Water.

Then something shifted.

“He saw the wind… and he was afraid.”

Not when the storm started.
But when his focus changed.

And suddenly, what once felt possible…
became overwhelming.

And this is where it becomes personal:

You were doing fine.
You were trusting God.
You were stepping out in faith.

Then you started looking at everything around you.

The problems.
The pressure.
The uncertainty.

And now you feel like you’re sinking.

But here’s the truth:

The storm didn’t change.
Your focus did.

And even then…

Jesus didn’t watch Peter drown.

The moment he cried out—
“Lord, save me!”

Jesus immediately reached out His hand.

Not after Peter fixed himself.
Not after he swam harder.

But in the middle of his sinking.

So if you feel like you’re going under right now…

This is your reminder:

You don’t need to have perfect faith.

You just need to call on the One
who never lets you drown.

Because even when your faith feels weak…

His hand is still strong enough to hold you.
