Capacity Building and Wellness Forum: Promoting Employee Well-being and Organizational Effectiveness.

For two meaningful days, July 21–22, 2026, 50 participants from the Schools Division of Vigan City gathered at Guang Ming Chan Monastery, Silang, Cavite, for a Capacity Building and Wellness Forum dedicated to fostering personal well-being, professional growth, and organizational effectiveness.

The forum provided participants with opportunities to engage in wellness and mindfulness activities, insightful learning sessions, and meditation practices that encouraged self-awareness, inner calm, and resilience. Through these shared experiences, participants were able to pause from the demands of daily work, reflect, recharge, and strengthen their commitment to creating healthier and more effective workplaces.

We are grateful to the Schools Division of Vigan City for choosing Guang Ming Chan Monastery as your partner in this meaningful journey toward holistic well-being. May the lessons, experiences, and moments of mindfulness continue to inspire balance, compassion, and excellence in both personal and professional life.

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined Pause & Breathe: A Morning of Mindfulness at Guang Ming Chan Monastery.

Together, we took time to slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and experience the transformative power of mindfulness and meditation under the guidance of Venerable Jue Qian.

A joyful and meaningful Buddha’s Birthday Celebration at Guang Ming Chan Monastery. 🌸
Visitors from different backgrounds experienced the Bathing of the Buddha ceremony, creating a beautiful moment of cultural understanding and spiritual learning for many non-Buddhists visiting the temple — while learning about the Buddha’s teachings, Buddhist culture, and the spirit of compassion. 🙏
