ACTION Second Mile Ministries is a Christian discipleship school that seeks to equip and empower marginalized Filipinos through holistic discipleship. Our vision is to see marginalized people maximize their God-given potential. Our goal is that through training, teaching and relationship our students will be transformed by being empowered to live as faithful followers of Christ, and experience life change by being equipped with solid biblical teaching and viable skills training. WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING DO WE OFFER? We offer courses in basic discipleship, ministerial leadership training, biblical teaching and vocational skills training. For more information about the courses we are currently offering please contact our office through the email and phone number provided. WHO CAN JOIN THE PROGRAM? Those seeking opportunities to maximize their God given potential, especially those who are marginalized in society. We believe that marginalized means those who have been pushed aside by society and not given equal opportunities as those with wealth or advantageous social status. We desire to give people the opportunity to explore God’s calling and experience his hope regardless of how hopeless their situation might seem. HOW DO PEOPLE APPLY TO THE PROGRAM? We partner with local churches to assist in reaching out to and discipling those God has placed in their communities and churches. For that reason we accept referrals from Christian evangelical churches. HOW WILL OUR CLIENTS CHANGE AFTER GRADUATING FROM THE PROGRAM? We desire to see holistic transformation in our clients. Meaning they will experience spiritual, mental, emotional and physical change. As a result they will either come to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ or mature in their faith and walk with Jesus. We also aim to give them a high value of their local church and a strong desire to serve their church. WHY DO WE EXIST? We exist to serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our way of serving him is to teach, train and disciple those who join the program. So, we exist to bring value to our clients.
