Good day brother seminarians and friends, I would like you to inform ahead of time that this coming December 2017 will be our tree planting. In response to the call of our Holy Father Pope Francis in his Encyclical Letter Laudato Si, on care for our common home, we will do our part as seminarians. I already contacted the priest formators at the college seminary and it was positive. For the college, please prepare the materials especially the seedlings. We only prefer native trees if possible, like nara, tugas and the like.
Please feel free to comment.
Thank you!
In Christ,
Junifer Toreno.

Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross

Dear Mr. /Rev. Fr./ Rev. Monsignor: ________________________________

Greetings of peace!

St. Joseph Seminary College (SJSC) is home for us and a dwelling place of many wonderful memories and friendships beyond forgetting. That is why, after leaving SJSC to pursue the lives we have chosen to live, every now and then our feet are driven to take steps that lead us back to this place we all call home.

With great joy then, we invite you to please come to SJSC on October 19-20, 2015 as we celebrate our 56th FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY ALUMNI HOMECOMING with the theme: “IGSUON KONG KABOS, TULUBAGON KO SA DIOS”.

We have outlined an engaging list of events for this year’s homecoming. We shall gather before the image of St. Joseph in front of the seminary for our “Hail, San Jose!” liturgy. His Eminence, Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, D.D. will share his reflections on our theme. We shall also listen to the inspiring voices of representatives from the lay and ordained alumni as well as from the faculty and formator and enjoy the special presentations and entertainment from the seminarians and others. On the second day, after our general assembly meeting, His Excellency, Most Rev. Daniel Parcon, D.D., an SJSC alumnus will preside at our Eucharistic Celebration where we will also honor our silver and golden Jubilarians.

So, please make the necessary arrangements in your schedule so that you will not miss this year’s homecoming. Please be reminded that we will be collecting the amount of Php 500.00 (for ordained) and Php 300.00 (for lay) for our registration. Your additional donation will also be appreciated. Do not hesitate also to bring pasalubong from your hometown to be shared with your brothers as we meet each other during the homecoming.

If you have questions and concerns, please contact Fr. Carmelito Q. Limbaga, Jr. (0917-306-4358; [email protected]).

Please find time to come. Your presence is truly appreciated. We hope to see you all in October as we celebrate our brotherhood in the Lord! Hail, St. Joseph, our patron and guide!

26/04/2015

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Amen.
