2. SALT STINGS.
(Ang asin ay mahapdi kapag tumatama.)

If salt stays in the jar and never touches the meat, it cannot preserve anything. If salt stays in the jar and never touches the food, it cannot give flavor.

In the same way, our faith cannot stay only inside the church. It must touch our homes, our workplaces, our friendships, and our choices.

If salt loses its taste, it becomes useless. We lose our “saltiness” when we become indifferent, when we stop caring, when we live our faith only inside the church but not in our daily lives.

But salt also has a warning. It also has a cost: It stings when rubbed on wounds.

Doing what is right is sometimes uncomfortable. Standing for truth can hurt.

But, still, "You are the salt of the world."

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐈 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐘 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇? 🕊️

In today’s message during the holy mass with 𝙍𝙚𝙫. 𝙁𝙧. 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝘿𝙚𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤, we were reminded that perseverance is a path to salvation. Gathering here at 𝗖𝗩𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 becomes more than just an event, it is a grace-filled season where we deepen our faith and choose God over the desires that pull us away from 𝙃𝙞𝙢.

Many seek Jesus only for what He can give, forgetting Who 𝙃𝙚 truly is. At times, even our world normalizes sin, making us uncertain of what is right.

We all carry silent battles, tears, and unanswered questions, but the more we struggle, the closer 𝙃𝙚 draws us into 𝙃𝙞𝙨 love.

If we long to be strong and hopeful, we must continue anchoring ourselves in Christ, for in 𝙃𝙞𝙢, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚.🌊✨
