Day 6, the last day of our VCS, was full of learning, fun, and fellowship. We learned about the Sacrament of Holy Orders (Orden) through the story entitled “First Honor,” which reflects how Jesus chooses individuals to become priests and servants of God. We also had a drama presentation showing how the priest leads during the Holy Mass together with the altar servers, helping us understand their important roles in the Church.

We also discussed the Sacrament of Matrimony or Kasal, relating it to the story “Gunting,” which taught us about love, unity, and commitment in marriage.

To end our VCS journey, we had our final fellowship and shared snacks together. This moment strengthened our faith, friendship, and desire to serve God and His Church. We shared many thoughts and experiences, and many of us became more inspired to participate and engage in church activities.

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Ma’am Kitkat Barcelona for sponsoring our snacks. May God bless you always.❤️❤️❤️

As we reached Day 5 of our Vacation Church School here at IFI Ilabas, another meaningful and faith-filled day was shared by the children, youth, and volunteers. Today, we learned about the 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, one of the most important sacraments of our Christian faith.

One of the highlights of today’s activity was the training for aspiring altar servers. The participants were taught how to properly serve during the Holy Eucharist Mass and become more familiar with the flow, responsibilities, and sacredness of the celebration. It was truly inspiring to see the youth willingly learn and prepare themselves to serve God and the Church with dedication and reverence.

We also discussed the 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 “𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐬” through the story entitled “Tabang!”, helping the children understand the importance of prayer, healing, comfort, and God’s presence during times of sickness and difficulty. Through storytelling, sharing, and activities, the participants were able to reflect on God’s love and care for His people.

Indeed, today’s activities were filled with learning, faith, fun, and spiritual growth. We truly enjoyed every moment together as one family in Christ, continuing to strengthen our relationship with God and with one another. 💛🙏

Another meaningful and spirit-filled day was shared during our Vacation Church School. Today, we learned about the 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 through the story titled “𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐨”, which taught us about the 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭. To make the lesson more meaningful and interactive, the children and youth presented a short drama about 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, showing how the Holy Spirit guides us in making good and faithful decisions in life.

We also discussed the 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 through the story “𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 “. reminding us that although we commit mistakes and sins, God’s love and forgiveness can heal and restore us when we sincerely repent.

One of the most touching highlights of today’s activity was our short confession and prayer moment. Each participant wrote their sins on a piece of paper, offered prayers, placed them into a basket, and lit a candle as a symbol of surrender, repentance, faith, and hope in God’s mercy.

Today’s activities not only deepened our understanding of the sacraments, but also strengthened our faith, unity, and relationship with God. Truly, it was a day filled with learning, reflection, joy, and spiritual growth.

Today, May 14, 2026, we remember the life of the late 𝐒𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐨 𝐎𝐩𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐫. through the celebration of the Hukas Lalaw held at the Opao Residence in Ilabas. Family members, relatives, friends, and the faithful gathered together to witness and take part in this meaningful occasion.

The Holy Mass was celebrated and led by Rt. Rev. Leon T. Estrella ,together with Rev. Fr. Adam Orcana and Rev. Fr. Renan Capistrano. The presence of the clergy, family, and community reflected love, unity, and prayers in honor of the life and memories of the late Sixto Amedo Opao Sr.

The IFI Cathedral facilitated the event, with the support and presence of IFI Ilabas, making the gathering solemn and meaningful for everyone who attended.

Today marks another blessed and meaningful day of our Vacation Church School here at IFI Ilabas. For Day 3, we focused on the 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦, learning its importance as the beginning of our Christian life and our journey of faith with God.

The lesson became even more meaningful as we connected it with the story of “𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐨𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐧”, helping the children and youth better understand the true essence of baptism — cleansing, renewal, and becoming part of God’s family. Through storytelling, sharing, and activities, everyone actively participated while learning valuable lessons about faith and devotion.

Day by day, our VCS continues to strengthen not only our knowledge of the Bible and sacraments, but also the friendship, joy, and unity among the youth and children of our community.

We warmly welcome and appreciate everyone who continues to join and support us in this journey of faith, learning, and fellowship. May we continue to grow closer to Jesus together. 💛🙏

Through discussions, activities, and participation, everyone was able to understand how these sacraments guide us in living a Christian life filled with love, service, and devotion.

Day 1 of Vacation Church School 2026 📖✨
May 12-16, 2026

Our hearts are full as we officially begin our 5-day journey of faith, learning, and fellowship here at IFI Ilabas. Together with the youth and children of our community, we shared smiles, prayers, stories, and fun-filled activities while learning more about the Word of God.

This first day reminded us that growing closer to Jesus is not only about learning the Bible, but also about building friendship, kindness, and love with one another. Seeing the joy and participation of every child truly reflects the happiness that Jesus wants us to share as one family in faith.

We warmly welcome and truly appreciate everyone who wishes to join us and be with us throughout this meaningful week. Together, let us continue growing in faith, sharing God’s love, and creating beautiful memories with one another. 💛🙏

Together with her family, relatives, and friends, we gathered in faith to pray, remember, and celebrate her life. The service was beautifully facilitated by IFI Ilabas, led by 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐧 , with inspiring music and hymns played by 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚.
