RORO PORT IN DAANBANTAYAN FINALLY COMPLETE

After almost two decades since its conceptualization, the Roll on-Roll off (RoRo) port in Maya, Daanbantayan town has finally been completed.

This is a good news not just for Daanbantayan and towns located North of Cebu but also for the other towns located in the West and Northwest of Cebu including Medellin, Tabuelan, Tuburan and Balamban (where Amonsagana is located at). This project enhances the accessibility of the prime tourist destinations from North to South of Cebu. It is deemed to encourage a huge boost in tourism in the nautical highway from Daanbantayan to Balamban even up to the southern part of the island. In the next years, more and more tourists, both local and foreign, are expected to visit Cebu contributing to a greater tourism movement.
