Siaton Branch Conference – A Heartfelt Celebration of Service and Leadership Transition
On February 23, 2025, the members of the Siaton Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came together for a profoundly moving and spiritually uplifting Branch Conference. The event was graced by the presence of President Ray Credo, Stake President of Dumaguete Stake, and his counselors, President Miko Lado and President Jorge Alit. Their support brought a spirit of unity, strengthening the members' faith and inspiring them to look ahead with hope and gratitude.
A deeply significant moment of the conference was the release of President Montiel, who had served as Branch President for an incredible eight years. With heartfelt gratitude, the branch expressed its appreciation for his selfless leadership, unwavering commitment, and Christlike service that touched the lives of many. Under his guidance, the branch flourished in unity and spiritual growth. The members were filled with gratitude for his tireless efforts and the love he consistently demonstrated throughout his years of dedicated service.
Also released were two faithful counselors: Brother Junard Gajeles, who had served as the First Counselor for 13 years, and Brother Petil, who had served as the Second Counselor for eight years. Their dedication, hard work, and kindness were integral to the strength of the Siaton Branch. Both brothers’ service was marked by their constant desire to uplift and support the members. Their tireless contributions have made an indelible mark on the branch, and the members expressed their sincere thanks for their years of faithful service.
In a moment of transition, the branch joyfully welcomed its new leadership. President Leonel Ritche Estamante was called the new Branch President, and Brother Mark Russel N. Cabase was called the new First Counselor. With hearts full of gratitude, the members embraced their new leaders, excited for the future under their loving and capable direction. President Estamante’s faith, humility, and leadership will guide the branch forward, and Brother Cabase’s dedication and strength will continue to be a pillar of support for the branch.
During his remarks, Stake President Ray Credo expressed deep appreciation for the service of President Montiel, Brother Gajeles, and Brother Petil. He praised their unwavering commitment to the Lord’s work and to the members of the branch. He then extended his full confidence and support to President Estamante and Brother Cabase, encouraging the members to work together in unity and to continue to strengthen one another in their faith.
The Siaton Branch Conference concluded with a spirit of profound gratitude and anticipation for the future. The members were reminded of the blessings that come from service, love, and dedication to the gospel. As they continue to support President Estamante and Brother Cabase in their new callings, they look forward to a bright future, knowing that the Lord will continue to guide them as they work together in unity and love.
