Thanks be to God for the Diocesan Pastoral Assembly 2016!
Laity and Clergy with the guidance of our Bishop now set forth for the 2nd Year of the Pastoral Plan of the Diocese of San Jose de Antique. Inspired to continue hoping to reach the vision of the local Church of Antique.

Archbishop Jose S. Palma our Keynote speaker, reminded us that this is not our work, but the work of God, we are just collaborators. It is not what I want but what God wants for His Church and that it needs discernment. It is also to recognize the different ministries to address the different needs of the Church. The Church must be understood in its vertical and horizontal dimensions that is both communion and its mission.

We were also inspired by the testimony of Jenny, a worker from the grassroots of the Church--BEC who in her dedication and commitment continue rendering her service for her local Church. Indeed God wants us to direct the Church in her preparation for the 2017 Year of the Parish as Communion of Communities.

Indeed, this is an advance learning and experience for Parish administration working with the laity--our partners in building up the Church.
