Prayer to St. John the Apostle

O glorious Saint John,
beloved disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ,
you who rested your head upon the Savior’s heart
and learned the depth of His love,
teach us to remain close to Christ in faith and humility.

Help us to love as you loved—
with purity of heart, steadfast hope,
and fearless devotion to the truth.
Strengthen us to stand faithful at the foot of the Cross
and to trust in God’s will in every trial.

Through your prayers,
may we grow in charity, wisdom, and courage,
so that our lives may proclaim the Word made flesh
and reflect the light of Christ to the world.

Saint John the Apostle and Beloved,
pray for us.
Amen.
