🌿✨ The San Agustin Bamboo Project Capacity Building 1 (CB1) Successfully Held!

The first Capacity Building of the San Agustin Bamboo Project was successfully conducted, equipping participants with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in bamboo propagation, nursery establishment, and biochar production — key steps toward environmental stewardship and sustainable livelihood.

Shared with and experienced by the 75 participants on February 7, 2026, at the St. Augustine Parish Church, Gubat, Sorsogon, the CB1 sessions highlighted the value of faith-driven care for creation and Basic Ecclesial Communities’ sustainability initiatives.

A great step forward in growing skills, strengthening community, and caring for creation together!🌱

San Agustin Medical Mission, Serving with Love

The Saint Augustine Parish–Gubat, Sorsogon successfully held its Medical Mission on January 24, 2026, as part of the build-up activities for this year’s “Pag-omaw kan Santo Niño.”
Big thanks to Sorsogon Medical Society , Gubat Rural Health Unit, Gubat Saint Anthony Cooperative, SB Member Hon. Bernard Castillo, doctors, nurses, volunteers, the Baranggay Health Workers (BHW), and everyone who helped make this possible and to all our community members who joined.

Forming Synodal Servant-Leaders: St. Augustine BEC Animators’ Workshop

Just as the first Christian community in Jerusalem lived in communion, shared everything, and served together in love, our kapilya and incabuhan BEC animators came together for a whole-day formation of pakikinig, pakikibahagi, at pagtutulungan on January 18, 2026. 💛

Following Christ’s prophetic, priestly, and kingly mission, they renewed their commitment to strengthen and enliven the Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) of St. Augustine Parish—continuing the spirit of the early Church in our local community. 🙏✨

PamKada 2026: BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!

Rain or shine, PamKada 2026 pushed through! After a one-day weather delay, runners gathered under fairer skies on January 18, 2026, for a joyful 6K “Pamilya at Barkada, Dalagan para sa Parokya.”

Participants from different barangays of the parish, nearby communities, and towns came together in the true spirit of family and unity.

From our youngest runner at 2 years old to our 75-year-old runner lola, PamKada 2026 was a beautiful celebration of inclusivity, wellness, and togetherness. ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

This family-centered activity strengthened family values, promoted holistic wellness, and fostered unity within our Christian community. It also served as a fundraising activity for the parish’s social action ministries and as a build-up event for Saint Augustine Parish’s annual Pag-omaw celebration.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all the runners and to the Local Government of the Municipality of Gubat and our barangay officials for their all-out support.
