God’s calling is not always found in the places we expect. Sometimes, it is right where we are, among the people we influence, in the season we are in, and in the place God has assigned us.

We are all called to live a life of worship, to belong to His Church, to serve, and to share the Good News. But beyond the general calling we share as believers, God has also placed something uniquely personal within each of us. That is our gifts, experiences, abilities, personality, and heart.

The question is not only, “What is God calling me to do?” but also, “Where is He calling me to be, who is He calling me to influence, and how can I use what He has given me to serve?”

The place where God calls you may just be the place where your deepest joy and the world’s deepest hunger meet.

When we respond to His calling, we don’t point people to ourselves, but instead we point them to Jesus.

Together, may our lives become a response to His call: purified, empowered, and sent.
