𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨 | May 24 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Every May, Our Lady of Victory Parish celebrates Flores de Mayo, A beautiful Filipino tradition that celebrates the Blessed Virgin Mary with flowers, prayers, and devotion.

One of the most awaited parts of the celebration is the Flores De Mayo. Young girls dress as saints and queens, walking in a joyful parade with colorful gowns and flowers. This event reminds us of Reyna Elena’s search for the Holy Cross and shows our love for God and Mary. Flores de Mayo at Our Lady of Victory Parish is a beautiful way to share our faith and come together as one family in the Church.

We would like to thank all the parents for their love, time, effort, and support for their children. Thank you for helping them prepare and for always guiding them during the event.

We also want to thank the LGU and 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐲𝐚 𝐢𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 for joining and supporting our Flores de Mayo and Santa Cruzan celebration.

Last Saturday, May 9, we were blessed by the house visitation of Sr. Flora H. Salimbagat, DMMI, Program and Services Coordinator of the Commission on Migrants. Her visit was a meaningful opportunity to connect with families, listen to their stories, and share words of encouragement and hope.

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who made love feel safe, strong, and unconditional. 💐�
They are often called the “𝙄𝙡𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣,” a phrase that goes beyond words. Mothers are the light of every home guiding their families with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith. Through their sacrifices and unconditional love, they continue to shape not only their children’s lives, but also the future they help build.

To all mothers, thank you for your endless love, strength, and dedication. May God continue to bless you and strengthen you as you remain instruments of light and grace in your families and beyond. ✨

The Chancery of the Diocese of San Fernando de La Union has been informed by the Archdiocese of Manila that an individual named 𝗝𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗦𝗢 introducing himself as 𝗥𝗘𝗩. 𝗙𝗥. 𝗣𝗥𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗥.

He is presenting himself publicly as a priest and attempting to exercise priestly ministry, yet has been laicized by the competent ecclesiastical authority of the Archdiocese of Manila.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 to celebrate the sacraments, preach the Word of God, wear clerical attire or any priestly garment and perform any functions proper to ordained ministers.

𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭.

The faithful are earnestly requested:

• To refrain from participating in any religious activities organized or led by this individual.

• To report any encounters or suspicious activities to the nearest parish priest or Diocesan
Chancery immediately.

• To seek legitimate pastoral care only from duly appointed priests of the Diocese.
