Saint Isidore The Farmer Parish - Corro-oy On June 4, 1947, Most. Rev. Santiago C. Sancho, Archbishop of Nueva Segovia, decreed the er****on of St. Mauro Resurreccion. Gari Zaldy P. Socrates Villegas, D.D. Fr.

Isidore parish which embraces the whole town of Santol and 4 Barangays of Balaoan: Butubut East, Butubut Sur, Pagleddegan and Calliat. The structure was chosen to be located in Corro-oy, Santol and the first parish priest assigned to the church was Fr. Couple of challenges tested the parish and its community but it stayed strong as years pass by. In connection to this, as a symbol of growing and s

tronger faith, the edifice was rebuilt on 1947 and 1970. And, before its 65th Foundation Anniversary, a new church (present church) was built during the tenure of Fr. Patiag and the structure was consecrated by Most. on May 15, 2012. ADDITIONAL INFO:

Today, on this blessed celebration of Pentecost Sunday, we joyfully commemorate the birthday of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ since 33 A.D.,
when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles with tongues of fire, filling them with courage, wisdom, and faith to proclaim the Gospel to all nations; may this sacred day remind us that the Church continues to live through every faithful heart that serves, prays, loves, and follows Christ, and may the fire of the Holy Spirit renew our lives, strengthen our faith, unite our communities, and inspire every Christian to continue the mission entrusted by Jesus to His Church until the end of time.

79TH PATRONAL FIESTA | SOLEMNITY OF SAINT ISIDORE THE FARMER
MAY 15

With grateful and joyful hearts, our parish community successfully celebrated the 79th Patronal Fiesta in honor of Saint Isidore the Farmer last May 15, 2026, through a solemn and grace-filled Holy Mass presided over by Most Reverend Daniel Oca Presto, D.D., Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Fernando de La Union, together with the priests who were present for the concelebrated Mass.

Despite the unexpected power interruption that happened during the celebration, the Holy Mass still continued peacefully and prayerfully, reflecting the unwavering faith, unity, and devotion of everyone who gathered to honor our beloved patron saint. Truly, we thanked the Lord for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings, for even amidst the challenges, His presence remained with us and allowed the celebration to continue solemnly and successfully.

The life of Saint Isidore the Farmer served as a beautiful reminder for all of us to always trust in God in every situation. Though he lived a humble and simple life as a farmer, he remained faithful in prayer, diligent in his work, and fully dependent on the providence of the Lord.
His life inspired us to continue trusting God wholeheartedly, knowing that He never abandons those who faithfully serve Him.

May our beloved patron continue to guide and inspire every faithful to live with humility, perseverance, gratitude, and unwavering faith in the Lord. Viva San Isidro!
