𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍 𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙏 𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙃𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙆𝙀
Heavenly Father, as we stand helpless against earthquakes, we call upon the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to save us. Please protect our families, our homes, the cities and towns we live in, as well as all the infrastructure within them.
Amen.
The magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao today reminds us that life can change in an instant. The very ground beneath our feet, which often gives us a sense of stability and security, can suddenly shake and leave us feeling vulnerable and uncertain.
In moments like these, we are reminded of our dependence on God. While we take necessary precautions, follow safety protocols, and heed the guidance of authorities, we also turn to the Lord in prayer, trusting that His loving hand continues to watch over His people.
Let us pray for everyone affected by the earthquake throughout Mindanao—for families seeking safety, communities assessing damage, those fearful of aftershocks, and all emergency responders, volunteers, and government personnel working to protect lives. May the Lord grant them strength, wisdom, and courage in this time of need.
As classes are suspended in some areas and assessments continue, may this situation also inspire us to be more compassionate, prepared, and united as one people. In every tremor and uncertainty, may we remember that God remains our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in times of trouble.
Lord Jesus, calm our fears, protect our communities, and keep the people of Mindanao safe under Your loving care. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may peace prevail in every home and every heart.
