With hearts ready for Palm Sunday, the Barkadahan ni Inggo – Parish Youth Ministry warmly invites you to support our simple yet meaningful fundraising activity.

We will be selling oliba for only ₱10–₱20 each, available near the main gate tomorrow, March 29, 2026 from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Every oliba you bring home is more than just a symbol of faith, it is a gesture of support that helps our youth ministry continue serving, growing, and inspiring others in our parish community.

In this season of reflection and renewal, may we walk together in faith, humility, and love. 🤍

‎Kan naka-aging Marso 7, 2026 an mga Barkada ni Inggo sa satuyang parokya, Barkadahan ni Inggo Parish Youth Commission, nakisaro asin malugod na nag partisipar sa 17th Diocesesan Youth Way of the Cross (DYWC).
‎
‎Sa panahon kan kuwaresma, sinda nakisumaro asin nagbaklay sa kada estasyon kan pagsakit kan satuyang Kagurangnan na si Jesukristo para-pasan an saindang mga krus asin mga personal na pangadyi. Ngunyan na kuwaresma, sinda nagkasararo asin malugod na inako an saindang mga pangapudan tanganing magbali sa nasabing aktibidad.

‎Lugod, sa satuyang pagbaklay pirmi niatong isipon an satuyang mga krus na idinadara niato sa satuyang buhay. Na an satuyang Kagurangnan uya sa satuya, kasabay ta sa pagbaklay asin paghorop-horop ngunyan na kuwaresma.

THE RAREST LITURGICAL COLOR OF THE YEAR

This Sunday, our beloved priests will wear one of the rarest liturgical colors in the Church’s calendar: rose. It appears only twice in the entire liturgical year, and this Sunday is one of those special moments.

During the season of Lent, the Church invites us into prayer, fasting, and repentance. The liturgical color is normally violet, reminding us of penance and preparation. But on Laetare Sunday, the Fourth Sunday of Lent, the Church softens the tone for a moment. The rose vestments symbolize joy in the midst of penance, a gentle reminder that Easter is drawing near.

The word Laetare comes from the Latin for “Rejoice.” Even while we continue our Lenten sacrifices, the Church encourages us to lift our hearts with hope because the Resurrection of Christ is approaching.

Rose is not just a change of color. It is a sign of encouragement. It tells us that while the journey of Lent may be challenging, the promise of Easter joy is already on the horizon.

So when you see your priest wearing rose vestments this Sunday, remember the message of the Church:
Rejoice, remain faithful, and keep going. Easter is near.

With hearts united in faith and service, St. Dominic de Guzman Parish has 41 delegates who will participate in the 17th Diocesan Youth Way of the Cross on March 7, 2026 at Kawa-Kawa Hill Natural Park | Divine Mercy Shrine of the Holy Trinity. 🙏

As one youth community, we commit ourselves to walk step by step, station by station in solemn remembrance of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. May this Lenten journey strengthen our spirituality, deepen our unity, and inspire us to live out our mission as young disciples of Christ.

💛 We are humbly open for sponsors and donations to support our transportation service for this meaningful pilgrimage. Any amount will greatly help our young pilgrims participate safely and fully in this diocesan gathering.
