The First Presidency is pleased to announce that effective immediately, young women who choose to serve a full-time mission may begin their service at age 18 following graduation from high school or its equivalent.

While the Lord asks every worthy, able young man as part of his priesthood responsibility to prepare for and serve a mission, we reiterate that missionary service remains an optional opportunity for young women. We recognize that for those young women who desire to serve a full-time mission, the choice of age to begin service will not be the same for everyone.

We extend our love to the youth of the Church and commend them for their faithfulness.

Brothers and Sisters,

Nais po naming ipaalala sa lahat na maghanda po tayo sa pagdating ng Bagyong Uwan. Bilang mga anak ng Diyos, tungkulin po nating pangalagaan ang ating sarili at ating mga pamilya. Tulad ng turo ng Simbahan, “If ye are prepared ye shall not fear.” (D&C 38:30)

Pagkatapos po ng ating Sunday Sacrament Service bukas (Nov. 09, 2025), ang meetinghouse ay bubuksan bilang evacuation site para sa mga brothers and sisters na nakatira sa mga bahain na lugar o may mahina o delikadong bahay.

Inaanyayahan namin kayong mag-evacuate nang maaga upang makaiwas sa panganib. Mangyari po lamang na magdala ng inyong mga kumot o beddings, pagkain, tubig, at iba pang personal na pangangailangan habang nananatili sa meetinghouse.

Huwag na po nating hintayin pa lumakas ang ulan o hangin bago kumilos. Ang maagang paghahanda ay pagpapakita ng ating pananampalataya at pagtitiwala sa Panginoon.

Tayo po ay magtulungan at magmalasakit sa isa’t isa. Kung alam ninyo ang mga pamilya o indibidwal na nangangailangan ng tulong, pakisabihan po agad ang inyong mga Elders Quorum o Relief Society leaders.

Manatiling ligtas, manalangin palagi, at maghanda.
Ang Panginoon ay laging nasa ating panig kapag tayo ay handa at nagtutulungan.
