Guard Your Heart, Protect the Unity

“Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.”Proverbs 22:24–25

Another reminder from God’s Word:

“Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”Ephesians 4:3

Reflection

The enemy knows that he cannot stop God’s work if God’s people remain united. That is why one of his tactics is to sow gossip, offense, anger, division, and negativity among believers.

Proverbs warns us not to keep close company with an angry or furious person. Such people do not always appear loud or hostile. Sometimes they speak calmly, kindly, and even seem concerned. Yet if their conversations are filled with criticism, gossip, offense, or attempts to discourage you from serving the Lord, their words can slowly influence your heart. Their goal may be to draw your attention away from God’s work and weaken your passion for the ministry.

That is why the Bible says they become “a snare to thy soul.” If we continually listen to voices that promote division instead of unity, we may eventually adopt the same spirit. What enters our heart will eventually affect our attitude, our relationships, and our service to God.

God has called us to unite in the faith, not to tear one another down. Instead of joining conversations that create conflict, let us become peacemakers who encourage, pray, forgive, and strengthen one another.

Today, choose to guard your heart. Refuse to participate in gossip. Stay away from bitterness and conversations that pull you away from God’s purpose. Keep your eyes on Christ and on the mission He has entrusted to us. Let us work together in love, unity, and humility for His glory.

Young People’s Fellowship | Dale’s Coffee ☕📖

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)

What a wonderful evening of fellowship, learning, and encouragement! Our young people were reminded that time is one of God’s greatest gifts, and every moment is an opportunity to glorify Him.

In a world full of distractions, may we choose to spend our days pursuing Christ, growing in His Word, serving others, and living with eternity in view. Let us not waste the time God has entrusted to us but use it wisely for His honor and glory.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Dale’s Coffee. We pray that this message will continue to challenge and inspire us to make every day count for the Lord.

See you at our next Young People’s Fellowship! 💙

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…”
— Romans 1:16 (KJV)

At the Santiago City Night Market, we had the privilege of fulfilling the ministry of reconciliation that God has entrusted to His people.

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”
— 2 Corinthians 5:18 (KJV)

Our message is one of hope.

Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. He alone is the way of salvation.

The Lord Jesus Christ is coming so soon! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

That is why we preach the gospel. That is why we go into the streets. We desire that everyone hear the good news and be reconciled to God through the faith of Jesus Christ who gave Himself for us.

Please pray that many hearts will receive God’s gift of salvation.

“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…”
— 2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)

Happy Father’s Day! 💙

We honor all fathers who faithfully lead, lovingly provide, and courageously protect their families.

A godly father leaves a legacy that is far greater than wealth. Through his faith, integrity, prayers, and love for the Lord, he shapes generations to come.

May God continue to strengthen every father with wisdom, grace, and unwavering faith as they lead their homes according to His Word.

“Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.”
— Psalm 103:13 (KJV)

To all the fathers in our church, thank you for your sacrifice, your example, and your steadfast love.

Happy Father’s Day! May the Lord richly bless you today and always.

The enemy is working overtime because he knows his time is short. He cannot stop the truth of God’s Word, so he shifts his attack to the people who carry it. If he cannot destroy the message, he will try to destroy the messenger.

He attacks through discouragement, pride, offense, unforgiveness, gossip, and division. He takes small misunderstandings and turns them into major conflicts. He magnifies minor issues until they threaten the unity of the church.

Satan knows that a divided church is a weakened church. That is why we must guard our hearts, refuse to entertain offenses, extend grace to one another, and fight for unity. Let us remember that our battle is not against one another, but against the spiritual forces that seek to hinder God’s work.

Let us stay faithful, stay humble, stay united, and keep our eyes on Christ. The enemy may attack the messenger, but he can never defeat the message of the Gospel.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV):

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)

Every day God gives us is an opportunity to serve Him. Time is one of the greatest gifts He has entrusted to us, and we are called to use it wisely for His glory. When we become idle or spiritually inactive, we leave room for the enemy to distract us with worldly pursuits, temptations, discouragement, and complacency.

God never intended His children to be spectators. He has called each of us to be laborers in His harvest. Whether through soul-winning, teaching, encouraging others, praying, serving in the church, or supporting the work of the ministry, every believer has a place in God’s work.

The more we draw near to God, the more we grow in faith, wisdom, and strength. As we faithfully serve in His ministry, our hearts remain focused on eternal things rather than the distractions of this world. A busy servant of Christ is less likely to become a target for the enemy’s schemes.

Let us not waste the precious time God has given us. Instead, let us redeem it by seeking Him daily, faithfully serving in His ministry, and investing our lives in things that have eternal value. The days are indeed evil, but we can shine as lights for Christ by living every day with purpose.

Don’t let the enemy occupy your time. Let God use your time. Get involved in the ministry, grow closer to the Lord, and faithfully serve Him while there is still opportunity. One day, we will give an account of how we used the time He entrusted to us.

The Bible teaches us to “endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3, KJV). Unity is not something that happens automatically; it is something every believer must intentionally protect.

We should also be careful about the company we keep and the voices we continually listen to. When we repeatedly spend time with people who sow discord, criticize the church, or tear down God’s work, our hearts can slowly be influenced by their spirit. Scripture reminds us, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” (1 Corinthians 15:33, KJV). What we allow into our hearts will eventually shape our thoughts, attitudes, and actions.

When a brother or sister is accused or misunderstood, our first response should not be avoidance, gossip, or taking sides. Instead, let us follow Christ’s example. Listen with compassion, seek the truth, pray together, encourage restoration, and help carry one another’s burdens. The church is a family, and families grow stronger when they extend grace, not condemnation.

Let us remember that Satan delights in division, but Christ is glorified through love and reconciliation. As believers, may we choose to build one another up, protect the unity of the church, and “love the brethren” (1 Peter 2:17, KJV). May our words bring healing, our actions promote peace, and our hearts always seek the restoration of one another for the glory of God.
