APPRECIATION POST

With the remarkable success of our grace-filled Summer Institute 2026, we would like to pour out our cheerfulness and humility to appreciate those people behind the scenes and all those who wholeheartedly contributed their time, effort, and support.

We offer our gratitude with joyful hearts to all our church workers, through the leadership of our District Superintendent, Rev. Rodel Claro Layugan, who have inspired and guided our delegates to further nourish their lives during their full stay in the venue.

We also lift our appreciation to all our Bible study leaders for uniting their full force of wisdom to offer the best fruits that our young people shall reap for their growth as the foundation of our church and as leaders of our district.

We also cherish the contributions of our speakers, preachers, and visitors, from Opening Worship to Evangelistic Night, Rev. Jose Salvador Jr., Mrs. Sarah Bless S. Maddela, Rev. Daniel Plaza, and Ms. Daphne Gay R. Bangunan, as well as our NEPAC ExeCom and former district officios, Ate Zasha Lugod, Kuya Arnel Alumbria, and Kuya Nathan Angelo Saplaco. You have become the light-bearers who have shaped leaders, inspired the lost, embraced those yearning for meaningful virtues, and uplifted those who are often unnoticed.

To the Salvador Integrated School Dance Troupe during the Opening Night, and Salvador, Divisoria, Cordon, Fabros, and Ambalatungan UMYFP PAW Teams, we warmly recognize your dedicated hearts through your God-given talent you have shared with us, which radiated during our activities.

To the Salvador United Methodist Church, headed by its Church Council Chairman, Engr. Fritz Martin, under the guidance of its Administrative Pastor, Rev. Jose Salvador Jr., as well as to Barangay Captain Hon. Sammy Sarmiento and to the principal of Salvador Integrated School, Sir Allen D. Manuel, Principal I, we lovingly acknowledge your faithful dedication in making our Summer Institute a truly grace-filled and 101% success. Your shared commitment, guidance, and wholehearted assistance created an atmosphere of Christ-centered unity and humble service that went beyond expectations and made the entire endeavor not only triumphant but deeply meaningful for all involved.

We would like to specifically express our heartfelt thanks to Barangay Salvador, the Office of Councilor Sherman Miguel, the Blanza Family, the Baldovino Family, and Mr. and Mrs. Noel Miguel for providing us with the necessities and services we needed throughout the duration of our event.

To our Badminton Mixed Finals facilitators, led by Jennah Ligsay, we thank you for your technical skills and patience in conducting the event and providing the opportunity to showcase the athleticism of our young people.

To our Kite Competition Judges, Mr. Marc Gerome Geronilla, Mr. Jerome Lee Lagmay, and Ms. Janna Marie Navarro, and to our MSD Got Talent Judges, Mr. Almir Orines, Mrs. Jonarry Faith Masa, and Ms. Leyjann Cirlou Lania, we offer this recognition with gratitude for your coordinated creative minds and sincere souls in valuing the talents and ingenuity of our young people through the various competitions conducted.

To the Metro Santiago District Executive Committee, led by Ms. Eunice Dionela, together with Dss. Nathelie Andres and Rev. Brigida Badua as Youth Coordinators, we extend our sincere gratitude for your consistent support and invaluable assistance throughout the planning, preparation, and successful ex*****on of the entire event.

Special appreciation to our UMYFP Leaders soon joining the โ€œIn Jesusโ€™ Stepsโ€ mantra, our very own President, Ate Eunice, and ECSA Dept. Head, Ate Rich. For years, you have shown your heart in service for the youth. Amidst your personal silent battles, you chose to show up with unshuttered commitment, which was manifested for this biennium in the district and your local church. This success would not be possible without your comprehensive insights and intentional mentorship.

We also celebrate the dedication of 203 registered delegates, from 12 local churches and one mission congregation, for their generous involvement in various events of our last activity for this biennium. Your participation has greatly contributed to successfully achieving all the expected objectives for every activity.

Finally, to our Supreme Creator, we give all honor and gratitude for guiding our minds, bodies, and spirits toward the true purpose of this event. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, we have grown in faith, love, and wisdom, while also strengthening our bonds with one another and deepening our relationship with You.

As always, in all ways, let us continue to steer the helm as we journey toward the humble Kingdom where our ministries continue to flourish and endure. And as we sail together, may we always remember to continue living as amalgamated youth, anchored with God.

Para sa bayan, para sa simbahan.

Si Kristo Higit sa Lahat!

"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:58

Another meaningful and unforgettable day at Summer Institute 2026. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Day 3 became a beautiful reminder of how God continues to move through every activity, every lesson, and every moment shared together under this yearโ€™s theme, TUNHAY. From the early morning devotion up until the evening worship, the day was filled with growth, fellowship, joy, and renewed faith. ๐Ÿ’š

The morning started with devotion and self-preparation, allowing everyone to begin the day with grateful hearts and minds focused on God. Bible Study 3 and the recap session gave participants the opportunity to reflect deeper on the lessons learned, strengthening not only knowledge but also personal faith and understanding. ๐Ÿ™Œ

One of the highlights of the day was the Daliasat Seminar, where everyone gained valuable insights and inspiration that encouraged both spiritual and personal growth. It became a meaningful experience as participants listened, learned, and discovered new perspectives that would help them continue serving with purpose and passion.

The afternoon was filled with excitement and energy through the Election Proper and Laro ng Lahi. These activities showcased teamwork, leadership, unity, and sportsmanship among the participants. Laughter, cheers, and joyful moments filled the surroundings as everyone enjoyed the games while building stronger friendships and connections with one another. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

As the night came, the Evangelistic Night became the perfect way to end the day. Through heartfelt worship, inspiring messages, and praises lifted together as one, everyone was reminded once again of Godโ€™s goodness, love, and calling. It was a night filled with encouragement, reflection, and renewed strength for the days ahead.

Day 3 was truly more than just a schedule of activities โ€” it was another chapter of faith, unity, learning, and memories that will surely remain in our hearts long after Summer Institute 2026 ends. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ซ

Day 2 of Summer Institute 2026: TUNHAY became a powerful reminder that when hearts are anchored in Christ, no challenge can overcome the spirit of His people.

The day began with a meaningful morning devotion led by Hezekiah Cluster, preparing everyone for another day of worship, learning, and fellowship. This was followed by Bible Study sessions centered on firmness in faith and serving God wholeheartedly โ€” encouraging every delegate to remain unshakable, steadfast, and faithful in their walk with God.

Participants were also blessed through the Mental Health Awareness Symposium focused on digital wellness and awareness. The session emphasized the importance of protecting not only our spiritual life, but also our emotional and mental well-being in this generation shaped by technology and social media.

The atmosphere of unity, excellence, and joy continued through the different competitions and activities held throughout the day.

Despite the sudden power interruption caused by the unexpected change in weather conditions, the energy and spirit of the delegates remained unshaken. In the middle of darkness and uncertainty, the light of fellowship, faith, and hope continued to shine brightly.

Indeed, Day 2 was more than just a series of activities โ€” it was a testimony of hearts growing stronger, faith becoming deeper, and young people choosing to stand firm for God no matter the circumstances.

As we continue this journey together, may we remain unshakable in faith, unwavering in service, and continually shining for Christ.โœจ

A beautiful start to our Summer Institute 2026 journey. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Today was more than just the first day of the institute โ€” it was the beginning of new experiences, deeper fellowship, and hearts being prepared for what God wants to do in each of us this week. From the moment everyone arrived and registered, there was already excitement, joy, and anticipation filling the place. ๐Ÿ’š

Through self-preparation, we were reminded to pause and allow ourselves to be spiritually, emotionally, and mentally ready for the days ahead. The opening worship and theme exposition became a meaningful moment for everyone as we gathered together in one faith, one purpose, and one desire โ€” to know God more and grow together as His people. ๐Ÿ™Œ

The business session and kite finalization reflected the teamwork, unity, and dedication of every participant and worker behind this event. And as the night ended with fellowship and Workerโ€™s Appreciation Night, it became a reminder that every act of service, no matter how small, is seen and valued.

Day 1 was filled with laughter, conversations, worship, learning, and genuine connections โ€” a reminder that SI is not only about activities, but also about building relationships, strengthening faith, and creating moments that will stay in our hearts even after this week ends. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ
