Decreased in numbers - increased in faith. These Young women have immersed themselves into knowing how Women in the Book of Mormon helped their places to prosper. Their choices to bring their Own Copy of the Book of Mormon allowed us to be edified - created a relationship with those generations of women that were quite older than us.

"As Sisters in Zion we all work Together, the blessings of God on our neighbors we'll Seek."

Young Women of Santiago 1st Ward once again strengthened their testimonies through uplifting one another with wonderful music and excellent teamwork. In the Scriptures, it says, "Praise the Lord with singing, with music, and with dancing" (D&C 136:28).

As the Young Women presidency, we have been thinking of different ways on how to strengthen the bonds of these girls while helping them become spiritually independent. Who would've thought that we would come back to the core of family activities, which is Family Home Evening?

Over the past two months, doing this has strengthened their testimonies of Christ, boosted their excitement to see each other, and helped them realize how important family memories truly are.

"Every young woman in the Church should feel valued, have opportunities to serve, and feel that she has something of worth to contribute to this work."
