Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makiisa sa masayang pag diriwang at manalangin bilang pag hahanda para sa pag dating ni Kristo. Ito rin ay pagkakataon upang mag pasalamat‚ magnilay‚ at mag bigay-pugay sa Diyos na nagkaloob sa ating ng buhay at pag-asa. 🙏✨

Sa darating na December 8, Dakilang Kapistahan ng Kalinis-linisang Paglilihi sa Mahal na Birheng Maria, ang oras po ng ating Misa ay sa ganap na ika-6:00 ng umaga.

Gayundin, sa December 12, ang lahat ay inaanyayahan sa ating Parish Advent Recollection sa ating Parokya. Ito po ay pangungunahan ng ating mga MCST Sisters. Ang Parish Advent Recollection ay magsisimula sa ika-2:00 ng hapon. Pagkatapos ng Recollection, ito ay susundan ng Nobenaryo sa karangalan ng ating Mahal na Patrona sa ganap na ika-4:30 ng hapon at susundan ng Banal na Misa sa ganap na ika-5:00 ng hapon.

𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙎𝙏 𝙎𝙐𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙊𝙁 𝘼𝘿𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏—𝙃𝙊𝙋𝙀

This candle has traditionally been referred to as "Prophet’s Candle" reminding us that Jesus is coming. The theological virtue of HOPE is at the center of the first week of Advent. This is the virtue practiced by the prophets and the entire Jewish race for 4,000 years, as they waited in expectation for the promised Savior. And it is the virtue each Christian must practice throughout his or her lifetime and is so well defined in the Act of Hope: “…I hope to obtain forgiveness of my sins, the help of Thy grace and life everlasting.”

This Sunday, December 3, is the FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT.

Advent is the four-week liturgical season that precedes Christmas. The term “Advent” is derived from the Latin word adventus which means “coming,” and it focuses not only on the past coming of Jesus on the first Christmas but also the future coming of Jesus at the Second or Final Coming at the end of the world, the Parousia or the Last Judgment.

Advent stresses hope, love, joy and peace. It begins on the Sunday closest to the Feast of St. Andrew and lasts for four Sundays.

GOD OF LOVE, YOUR SON, JESUS CHRIST, IS YOUR GREATEST GIFT TO US. HE IS THE SIGN OF YOUR LOVE. HELP US TO WALK IN THAT LOVE DURING THE WEEKS OF ADVENT, AS WE WAIT AND PREPARE FOR HIS COMING. WE PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS, OUR SAVIOR. AMEN.

JESUS CHRIST, SON OF GOD, THE LAMB OF GOD, WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD, HAVE MERCY ON US.
