IV. SOURCES OF FUNDS TO CARRY ON THE CARING SERVICES
A. How will this be possible? With a little amount in our hands to start with, as seed money, we started a step of faith. But of course we cannot do it alone. We have partners who has the joy of serving the Lord, has the heart to help, and who wanted to minister to the ministers. We began praying for the generous giving of those who will be touched by the Lord, having the same vision to carry on the Gospel through the SCCI ministry. We are encouraging individual Christians, churches or groups to invest in this life-giving ministry to God’s servants. Be a partner who cares for the Lord’s compassion to the lost by caring for His servants in the harvest field. Returns for the Partners:
a. Biblical promises:

1. Reward from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself Matthew 10:42 (NIV)… And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.”

2. More blessings and gifts to be released from God 2 Cor 9:10-15 “10Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.12This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!”

3. God will remember what you have shared. Heb 6:10 “10God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

4. Partners will be called blessed. As Paul says in Acts 20:35: 35In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Could we imagine a couple missionary with clear calling for full time ministry, having two kids receiving $35-50 or P1,500.00 monthly? Not only that, having not even a bike for their mobility or typewriter to write on their message. Yet, the compassion for the lost is there in their hearts, even in the remotest part of the earth, they are determined to “GO” despite their needs! We have seen the needs of God’s servants working in the harvest field. Through our visitations and fellowshipping with different servants of God in various denominations, the cry is there. During our ministries in Lubang Island (Mindoro), Bondoc Peninsula (Quezon), Catanduanes (Bicol), Cagayan Valley and in Northern Cebu, we felt the need of our co-servants in the field. Although there are those who are financially and materially blessed by God in their work place, yet there are some who really needed help. We know that our God is not only concerned with our spiritual needs, but also our earthly needs. The Lord started to plant this burden to our heart since 1990, through Matthew 9:37- 38 …”then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Why lack workers? In Gen 4:9 “Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Very few are thinking of God’s situations in the field, especially their needs, financially, materially and emotionally. Some are in the verge of quitting. Yes, they need our care! YOUR CARE! Who will be used by God to cater the needs of His faithful workers…? None other than His children who had the burden and been touched by God to SERVE by sharing! Is there any WAY for us, who knew the needs, could do something for them? That is why the SERVANTS CHANNEL of CARES INTERNATIONAL (SCCI), Inc was organized so that we, YOU and I could be a channel of CARE to those God’s servants who are faithfully working in the Lord’s Harvest Field. Let’s give them a double honor! This is an opportunity to serve God for those who cannot go to the field; they can serve the Lord by serving His servants in the harvest field. God bless! The caring ministry for God’s servants all over the Philippines must go on until our Chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ comes! By the way, we can pick up your shares or donations within Metro Manila and suburbs.
