SEVEN CHOSEN TO SERVE | Acts 6

God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities to use for His glory. We may have different roles, but every one of us has an important part to play in God’s work.

In Acts 6, we see how seven faithful men were chosen to help serve and care for the people of the church.

THE GARDENERS
A good leader is like a gardener—someone who plants, nurtures, guides, and helps others grow. True leaders don’t simply lead; they mentor, care for, encourage, and nurture the needs of their members.

As young people, may we learn to:
Use the gifts God has given us.
Care for one another. Serve with a willing heart. Help others grow in faith.

“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” — Acts 6:4

May we be faithful servants and faithful “gardeners,” helping one another grow in Christ.

All glory to God! 🙏🏻

Topic : PENTECOST | 27 September 2026

God fulfills His promises and empowers His people through the Holy Spirit.

This week, we were reminded through Acts 2 that the Holy Spirit gives us power, teaches us to wait on God’s perfect timing, and equips us to fulfill His purpose.

For our Youth Ministry, we also learned about the Waldorf Principle that true leadership is not about being above people, but about serving them extravagantly and sacrificially.

May we be a generation empowered by the Holy Spirit and willing to lead through humble, selfless service.

Wait on God. Be empowered by the Spirit. Lead by serving.

All glory to God!

📖 YOUTH FELLOWSHIP | September 20, 2026

“Go and Make Disciples” — Matthew 28:16–20

We were reminded that Jesus has called and sent us to go into the world, share the Gospel, and reach people from every nation.

As young people, may we not only hear God’s Word but also live it out through our actions, choices, and the way we influence others.

Youth Discussion: “Change in Your Pocket”
We learned that leadership comes with responsibility. A good leader chooses integrity, makes wise decisions, and thinks beyond personal gain so that others can continue to benefit from what has been entrusted to them.

May we become young people who lead with integrity, wisdom, and a heart for God’s mission.

Memory Verse:
“Go and make disciples…
Matthew 28:19

All glory to God!

SUNDAY MINISTRY | 6 SEPTEMBER 2026 ✨

🏠 KIDS MINISTRY — “HOUSE OF PRAYER”
Yesterday , we were reminded that our lives and our bodies are God’s temple, and we are called to keep them clean and pleasing to Him. Sometimes, we need to remove the things that distract us, lead us away from God, and keep us from focusing on what truly matters.

📖 Memory Verse:
1 Corinthians 3:16
“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

May we continue to choose what honors God and allow Him to fill every part of our lives. 🤍

🎈 YOUTH MINISTRY — “LIFTING OTHERS UP”

Through our Image Study: Hot Air Balloons, we reflected on one of the most important ways we can connect with others: by lifting them up.

Let us be the kind of people who encourage, support, and inspire others instead of bringing them down. Sometimes, a simple word of encouragement can help someone rise above their struggles.

May our lives be a reflection of God’s love—clean hearts, focused minds, and hearts willing to lift others up.

All for God’s glory!

KIDS , TEENS & YOUTH MINISTRY | 30 AUGUST 2026

KIDS TOPIC: THE WOMAN WHO TOUCHED JESUS
📖 Mark 5:21–34

Today, our Kids Ministry learned about the woman who had been suffering for 12 years. After trying everything, she placed her faith in Jesus and reached out to Him. Through her faith, she experienced the power and healing of Jesus.

This reminds us that:

🌟 What is impossible for people is possible with God.
🌟 Jesus alone can restore and make us whole.
🌟 Jesus understands our needs and cares deeply for us.

📖 Memory Verse:
“What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
— Luke 18:27

✨ YOUTH TOPIC: PYRRHIC VICTORY ✨

The youth also had a meaningful discussion about pride and how sometimes, the desire to always win, be right, or have the last word can damage our relationships.

A victory is not always truly a victory if it comes at the cost of hurting, losing, or pushing away the people we care about. Pride can prevent us from listening, understanding, apologizing, forgiving, and handling our relationships with humility and love.

May we learn that sometimes, choosing humility, understanding, and love is far more valuable than simply proving that we are right. 🤍🙏

✨ A heart that chooses faith over fear and humility over pride is a heart that grows closer to God.

SUNDAY MINISTRY | AUGUST 23, 2026

KIDS MINISTRY: THE ROMAN OFFICER

Our kids learned a beautiful lesson from Matthew 8:5–13 about a Roman officer who showed great faith in Jesus and trusted Him to heal his servant.

💡 Key Lessons:
✨ God is in control of everything.
✨ Distance is never a barrier for God.
✨ We need to have faith in God.

📖 Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:1
“Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

YOUTH MINISTRY: THE CALCUTTA PARADOX

Our youth also reflected on The Calcutta Paradox, a lesson that highlights the humility of a leader—that true leadership is not about power or position, but about serving others with humility, compassion, and a heart willing to put others first.

May we continue to raise a generation of children and young people who trust God, walk in faith, lead with humility, and serve others with love.

To God be all the glory!

Sunday Ministry Recap | August 16, 2026

This Sunday, we learned from “The Blind Man” (John 9:1–42) about the importance of having spiritual sight, trusting God in a broken world, and believing that God can perform miracles in different ways.

Our memory verse, John 9:31, reminds us that God listens to those who worship Him and follow His will.

Meanwhile, our Youth Ministry had an engaging Image Study through Chess and Checkers, encouraging them to learn, observe, think, and see things from a deeper perspective.

Thank You, Lord, for another meaningful Sunday filled with learning, fellowship, and faith!

To God be all the glory!

Last Friday | Adult Film Showing 🎬🙏

Last Friday, our adults gathered for a meaningful film showing of War Room. The movie gave us a beautiful reminder about marriage, prayer, forgiveness, and putting God at the center of our homes. ❤️

We were reminded that husband and wife are not enemies. Instead of fighting against each other, we should learn to fight for our marriage through prayer. Sometimes, before asking God to change our spouse, we need to allow Him to change our own hearts first.

May every couple learn to pray for one another, seek God together, and trust Him through every challenge. Because a stronger marriage begins when God is at the center. 🙏❤️

Sunday School | August 9, 2026 🌿✨

What a beautiful Sunday with our children and teens as we learned an important lesson from Jesus: “Let the children come to Me.” 💛

Through our lesson from Matthew 19:13–15, Mark 10:13–16, and Luke 18:15–17, we were reminded that every child and every young person is precious and welcomed by Jesus.

May we never judge someone by how “important” they seem, because our worth is not based on who we are, but on who Jesus is. 🙏

Thank you, kids and teens, for joining us! May you continue to grow in faith, love, and in the knowledge of God. 💕📖

✨ Kids Ministry | Bible Lesson: Lazarus ✨

This week's lesson reminded us of a powerful truth: nothing is impossible with God. Through the story of Lazarus, our children learned that Jesus deeply loves and cares for His friends, and that God's timing is always perfect—even when we don't understand it.

📖 Memory Verse:
"With God, all things are possible." — Matthew 19:26

May every child continue to grow in faith, trust God's perfect timing, and believe that He can do the impossible. 💙🙏
