In light of the recent catastrophic floods and landslides in Nepal, this serves as a formal call to prayer for all affected regions. We collectively petition for divine intervention, the preservation of life, and the swift restoration of the impacted communities.

True faith is more than simply believing in God. It is a responsive trust in His Word that moves us into obedient action, even when the outcome is not yet visible. In Hebrews 11:8 and Genesis 12:1–4, Abraham responded to God’s call by beginning in obedience, continuing in trust, and confidently resting in God’s promises. His journey reminds us that faith begins where full understanding ends.

God’s guidance flows from His presence as our Shepherd, not simply from His direction as a guide. In Psalm 23:1–3, David reminds us that the Lord leads, restores, and cares for His people. Jesus also says in John 10:27, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Our daily walk with God is not only about knowing where He is leading us, but about staying close enough to hear His voice and trust His presence.

We often want God to explain His plans before we choose to obey. Yet in John 14:21–23, Jesus teaches that obedience comes first. Our obedience is the evidence of our love for Christ, and as we faithfully follow His Word, we experience deeper fellowship with the Father and a greater understanding of His presence. True spiritual wisdom is not found in knowing everything before we act, but in trusting God enough to obey Him, even when we do not yet understand.

What step of obedience is God asking you to take today, even before you have all the answers?

The Church exists for more than gathering together. It exists to go into the world with the Gospel. In Acts 13:2–3, we see the church in Antioch worshiping, praying, and then sending Barnabas and Saul to fulfill God's mission. A healthy church does not simply care for its own members. It welcomes new people, invests in discipleship, and sends believers to share the hope of Christ wherever they are. Every follower of Jesus is called to be His witness, making disciples in everyday life.

How is God calling you to go beyond the walls and help someone take their next step toward Christ?
